We had accommodations at one of the fanciest hotels in Kinsale, right downtown. There was an issue with that hotel being too hot due to unseasonable warm weather. We could not stay there. We contacted the Four Winds B&B and they had a room for us. It was very comfortable and quiet. The owner was very helpful and accommodating as... More

Nothing spectacular. The owner was very accommodating, but not very personable. Definitely wouldn't consider it "walking distance" to Kinsale's city center. Small bathrooms, but very clean. When my husband asked for directions she was able to give good suggestions on free parking and locations of sites to visit. Felt like we were invading her family's personal space though.

A modern B&B with rooms that are clean, comfortable, and average in size. We were pleased with the breakfast and our hostess was very gracious when we asked her for help to book some golf tee times. One thing to note- if you want to walk to town it is not the safest walk as you are on roads that... More

Nice enough place. Rooms were clean and roomy. Hosts pretty impersonal and not particularly helpful with suggestions for dinner. Upon arrival was greeted by the family's Au Pair that was less than familiar with all of the things in the home and was wholly unfamiliar with the town of Kinsale. Location is OK, but at least a 5 minute drive... More

We stayed in this semi-rural B&B while touring around Ireland. It was great. The hospitality was first class, the breakfast one of the best we have had and the room was fine. A reasonable size, clean and quiet, apart from a little noise occasionally from neighbours. We walked into town for dinner which was 15 minutes downhill, though a little... More

Our family stayed here early in July during unprecedented weather. Our triple room was quiet, clean, very comfortable, and quite roomy. The shower was on the small side, but we found that to be the norm in Ireland. The strong water pressure and the hand held shower head made it the best shower that we had on our vacation. The... Stayed overnight as part of a tour booked package. The house is run by a lovely couple who were welcoming and more than willing to help with anything you needed. (Mr. even drove us in to town to meet our group for dinner). Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Breakfast is served in a... More

We were bumped to this place and kinda happy it happened :) The hostess was warm and accommodating--she asked us what time we wanted bfast (no other bnb gave us a choice!) and we asked for it to be early since we were driving all the way to ring of kerry/dingle that day...and she didn't mind since she had 'wee... My family stayed here in late June and we were delighted with this B&B. The rooms were very clean and quite comfortable. It was a quiet, peaceful place just outside of Kinsale. The owner was very kind and helpful, as we had a automobile mishap just prior to our arrival. She let us use her phone to rectify our situation.... More

Lovely B&B on a hill outside of Kinsale. The room was very nice with terrific views of countryside. The breakfast was delicious and we wish we could have stayed longer in this lovely location. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. She spent quite a bit of time helping us figure out how to make calls from our mobile phones.... More
