Pros: Stayed for one night, the owner was a really lovely pleasant woman who gave good advice and tips on where to go in the area. The room was a good size and had its own on-suite and all amenities needed. Breakfast the next morning was very good-nothing was too much. Lots of choice and good quality ingredients. Neg: a... We have had an excellent one night b&b experience for a party of 8 doing the Anpost RAS cycle race. Norma and her staff were fantastic nad looked after our every request. I would like to return with my family. Set in stunning rural location of rolling irish hills (dairy and sillage farms). Scones to die for. Fresh milk. Very... More

We stayed at 6 B&Bs across Ireland. We loved them all, but this was by far our favorite. Mrs Walsh welcomed us with tea and scones/jam, and she had maps and great advice ready for us to make the most of our time in Clonakilty. Her property is on a large, gorgeous plot of working farmland, complete with cows and... More

We received the warmest welcome and wished we could stay longer than one night - however I would have gained a lot of weight eating all the delicious fayre on offer if we had! Definitely a place to return to.

This Band B is situated in the countryside with some lovely views. Norma works so hard to provide her guests with a true Irish welcome. She provides freshly brewed coffee and home made scones on arrival. The house is warm and comfortable and very clean. There is no TV in rooms but there is a TV room available. She also provides... The room was fine and comfortable, breakfasts were excellent and Norma is the most helpful and accommodating hostess you could ask for. She provided us with a great home-cooked meal on our first evening - it was like a Christmas dinner! She suggested great beaches in the area when the weather was good and also had suggestions for sightseeing and... More

Stayed here one night after bad experience at another B&B sent us hunting for a replacement. Most fortunate that Norma had an opening, and we had a wonderful time.
