First contacted Longueville House some 24 years ago following a culinary television programme that featured this location as having Ireland's only vineyard. At that time I received a lovely handwritten reply with all the information that was kept safe until now. My wife and I finally made the journey to Mallow County Cork where with much excitement we finally were... More

Many hotels & resorts around the world aspire to be like Ritz-Carlton and provide an exceptional customer experience to their guests. Regrettably, few succeed. However, tucked away in County Cork in the small town of Mallow is the Longueville House where this goal is not only met but consistently exceeded. When my wife and I first arrived at Longueville House... More

From the entrance gate on, Longueville House needs attention. Our recent two night stay left us disappointed with no heat in bedroom on Friday night, window blind that wouldn't work, no hot water for a shower on Saturday night. The best part of our stay was that the staff were very friendly and helpful, and did attend to the faults... More

My husband and I with our 2 children had a wonderful visit. We loved our room. The room with the fireplace was a relaxing place to warm up. The game room allowed us a space to entertain the children. The children loved taking walks with the dogs. My husband did the clay pigeon shooting and we also did the falcolnry... More

Dinner at Longueville, we had the "tasting" menu where each course was more pleasant than the last. Examples of all menus are on the website. I thought that the dress code might be quite formal, but it was more smart-casual.

My daughter got married here in November. Everything went so well-especially with the expert team who run weddings here. I could not recommend it enough. We had an intimate family dinner on the Friday night in the Chinese room. The MD introduced each course with the foods provenance with humour and followed up with excellent service. The wedding day itself... More

This place makes one of the best ciders. They also have their own farm and restaurant, making everything themselves, from jams to granolas. The house is beautiful with two big relaxing fireplace rooms to have a nice drink in before your dinner. Lovely atmosphere over all and beautiful vast grounds around the house to have a nice morning stroll. The... More

Have been here a few times for family meals and it always feels special and super indulgent. Definitely very well looked after when you come here to eat, have never stayed in one of the rooms though. Food is locally and expertly sourced, drinks before meal by the fire are lovely and staff good but waiters could tone down the... More

I had the pleasure of enjoying an evening of exclusive pre Christmas shopping in comfort at Longueville House Hotel, treated to mouth watering food, their special Longueville House mulled Cider and live entertainment surrounded by great company and cosy fires. Highly recommended as a must do if looking for a Christmas girlie night out or break away at Christmas. When... More

Hard to know where to begin, we were greeted by a very friendly and enthusiastic Tomasz and shown to our gorgeous room looking out from the front of the house over the grounds and across the valley. The views are spectacular! After settling in, we took a walk around the grounds - herb garden at the back where we met... More
