A wonderful welcome from the hosts. We stayed here so we didn't have to drive in the centre of Dublin. Wish we had been able to stay longer. The family room was spacious, light and airy which was fantastic. The ensuite was also spacious which made for a refreshing change from most of the other B&B's we had been to.... More

We chose this B&B because we were reluctant to drive into central Dublin. In all we stayed here for 4 nights and during this time we were more than impressed with the hospitality we received, which was as good as, if not better, than other B&Bs we had stayed at during a one month driving tour of Ireland. Each day... More

There are times when travel plans take unexpected twists, unravel and cause limitless frustration. Such was the case late last August (2014). I travelled with my 90 year-old mother to Liverpool, crossed by ferry to Dublin where we spent an exceptional few days touring that wonderful city and then picked up a pre-arranged rented car and set out to discover... Stayed at the Heatherview B&B for four nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hosts, Jim and Maura were very friendly and provided great advice on places to visit and transportation options. They were extremely accommodating when we requested a late arrival in order to stop over in Liverpool on way from Scotland to Ireland. Rooms were clean and quiet.... More

My wife and I have traveled all over Europe, South America, China, and the Middle East and I have never had an example of poor hospitality as I did with the owners of this B&B, Jim and Maura. To be fair I did only visit for a couple of hours. I was staying in south Dublin and was planning a... More

Pretty basic B&B on the outskirts of Malahide. It's about a 20 minutes walk to the park and village area. The hotel is clean, but pretty basic and fairly isolated. Small rooms, good breakfast to order. That being said, if you're looking to enjoy Malahide for a couple days this is a safe option.

Wish we had actually been able to stay here. We had reservations but on our arrival our hosts (Jim & Maura) met us at the door regretfully and apologetically explaining that one of their guests had fallen and was in the hospital and they just could not move his wife ( who had our room)who did not drive. We fully... More

We wanted to avoid staying in the Dublin city center due to the cost and difficulty driving a car around the city. Instead, we looked for a place in close proximity to the city and this B&B worked well for us. The B&B is very close to the airport (~5-10 minutes) and about 20-30 minutes via bus to Dublin. Parking... More
