Seriously, I would go back there - just to sleep in the bed !! Like sleeping in a cloud ! Lots of places to eat in Skerries - 10 minutes away. (Well will be when we are out of lockdown!). It is down a country road ..... do keep a watchful eye out for potholes in the road !
What a wonderful location for this beautiful B&B in the country. The uniqueness outside the lights of Dublin set this place apart from all others. A three day stay felt like home each night we went to bed. The Irish breakfast (provided by John (sp) was excellent. We are big fans of black pudding after this visit. One would be second guessing themselves if they did not book a room here while traveling through Ireland. Amazing views, comfortable beds and all the quietness you could ask for. Katie is a great host and we will be booking again when vacationing or traveling through the Ancient Coast of Ireland. Thanks Katie for the recommendation to leave for Dublin airport earlier than planned as security and customs took a bit longer than expected.
We had a wonderful stay. The room was nice and clean. Great places to visit near by. Katie and Leo were so caring. They checked in on us every day we were there. They offered us breakfast and left us a nice basket when we weren't able to attend. We are so blessed we got a chance to stay with them. We are dying to go back and will definitely book with Katie and Leo again. Wonderful place!
Not the cozy B&B experience one would expect. Awful to try to find unless you have a GPS in which you can enter satellite coordinates. It really is just a motel in a little seaside town. It is okay for one night. It is close to the airport. If you are looking for a "special Honeymoon-like" Bed & Breakfast, this is not the place. Oh, and a tip for Americans -- the outlets are the giant three prong outlet I've only ever seen in the Ireland and Scotland.
Stayed there on our last night before flying out of Dublin Airport the next morning. We were a very late check in but called to let them know. We were told no problem and to get there when we get there. Suggested eating first in Skerries which we did. When we finally arrived she asked what time our flight was and suggested what time we needed to leave for the airport, which was way before breakfast. However she left a basket outside our door with fruit and breakfast bars so we’d have something to eat and there was plenty of coffee and tea in the room. The room was clean and comfortable but we never got to appreciate the outside as it was dark checking in and checking out. Would definitely recommend this B&B.
