We only stayed in Tara for one night and if ever back in Enniscrone will be definitely stay with Catherine again. Our room was great, wonderfully comfortable beds and pillows, and a great Irish breakfast with white and brown home made breads. Free WIFI was offered. There is a power shower and nice little touches, such as shower gel in... More

Enniscrone was extremely busy over that weekend, couldn't book anywhere at reasonable rate. Luckily, got the number to Tara B&B and booked a room for Euros 70. Between the two it wasn't expensive. It was a short notice, 5 minutes after the call we arrived at the place. The lady (owner) was very welcoming. The room we had was spacious... More

The owners are very kind and gave us an excellent service and hospitality. Whenever we return to this region surely we would love to come back ! The room was beautiful decorated, the bed was warm and wonderful and when we arrived there was a delicious cake with the tea and coffee. The bathroom was well fitted and shiny clean.

We only stayed for two nights here, but felt right at home. Katherine and her family did everything they could to make us comfortable. The room and ensuite bathroom were clean and tidy, a separate lounge area and coffee/tea making facilities were also provided. Lovely breakfast, delicious home-baked bread, and a choice of cooked dishes available. The area is great... More

Catherine was great and made us very welcome, we just wished it wasn't a rushed 2 night visit for a wedding as we knew we really could have chilled for a nice weekend break away from home life. Breakfast was lovely as were the company of the other guests. The rooms and the rest of the farmhouse were absolutely spotless.... More

We spent another 8 nights with Catherine and her lovely family at this delightful Farmhouse B & B. Nothing is ever too much trouble, always a warm welcome with tea and homemade fresh scones. Our room as ever spotless & a very comfortable bed home from home. Breakfast as ever was lovely, fresh flowers from the garden on the table,... More

I used to prefer to stay in hotels until I stayed here. Katherine could not do anything more to make out stay perfect. It was like staying with family. She always went the extra mile and the things you did for my Auntie...I couldn't ask for anything more. You made her holiday! perfectly clean and the food was amazing. Thank... More

I had never been to Enniscrone before, and only stayed one night, but everything about Tara (and Catherine and her family) made me wish I could come back as soon as possible. The setting is beautiful, looking down a short way to the town, with a view of the dunes on the left and the beach beyond. For reasons not... More
