We had a very comfortable stay here. The host was pleasent. She suggested nearby attractions to visit and made a wonderful Irish breakfast. The room was clean and spacious. We would stay here again. Thanks Karen!

We stayed here whilst visiting family in Ballyshannon and attending the Folk Festival. The B & B is at the bottom of the town, just a 5 minute walk away. Karen and Martin were very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Our room at the back overlooking the garden, was modern and very clean, and extremely quiet. We had an en... More

We stayed here two nights. Our bed was comfortable & the room was clean, well-equipped and niccely decorated. Breakfast was made to order. Karen was delightful & helpful. She taught us about the 'airinng cubbard' (i.e. around hot water heater) when she put our handwashed clothing in there to dry more quickly She made good recommendations for dinner eating and... Very hospitable host. Very cosy and the host was very accommodating when we asked to stay another night at very short notice. A lovely place on the edge of Ballyshannon to stay and very key to all the fabulous place to visit. Fantastic breakfast.

Recently stayed with Karen and Martin for 3 days whilst visiting family in Ballyshannon. Good clean rooms, great breakfasts and great value. Very close to town, but nice and quiet. Karen and Martin are very helpful and can advise on anything you might need to know in the local area. Will be back

This was our second stay at Elm Brook and it was just as good as stay as the first! We were graciously welcomed by Karen and Martin. Our room was clean and tidy, and we went down to an excellent Irish breakfast the next morning. It's an easy walk from Elm Brook to the center of Ballyshannon. We would recommend... More

We are cycling all round the North of Ireland and by the time we arrived at Elm Brook we had been on the road for two weeks. We always stayed in b and b'so and this was the best stay so far. A warm welcome, great room, very clean and a fabulous breakfast even by Irish standards. The hosts are... More

We were warmly welcomed by Karen, our hostess, and shown to our lovely room overlooking the back garden. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The shower has a pump so Karen gave us a "shower lesson" so we would be sure to know how to operate it. The house is in a quiet location off the main road and... More
