My husband,2 children(,5 year old and 3year old boys) and myself are just home from a fantastic stay in Cavangarden Court,we stayed in the renovated church in the family run estate just outside Ballyshannon. We were greeted upon arrival by the owner Christopher who showed us around the house and how to work the beautiful oil burning stove which kept... More

This place was ideal for our family of six aged between 26 and 78 and our wee dog. Although we went in winter we would love to go back in the summer to see the grounds in all their glory. It's handy to Ballyshannon on one side and Donegal Town on the other side. Will definitely be back.

Stayed over New Years for 4 nights and had the most wonderful time. The place is absolutely stunning with grounds of outstanding natural beauty. Christopher was so welcoming and accommodating. In fact when we could not figure out how to work the television he had a new one delivered the next morning, which was NYE. This was above and beyond!... More

Stayed here with my 3 girls and my parents. Had an absolutely beautiful time in Cavangarden. We stayed in the bell house, this was very relaxing and very welcoming. Cozy fire each evening we returned from our adventures in Donegal. Christopher (owner)couldn't have been any nicer ,made us feel instantly at home. Jenkins and Buddy (owners dogs) were the girls... Stayed here with wife, mother and two kids last month. Great spacious house on lovely grounds. Small playpark on site for kids. Location is great - quiet but only a few minutes from Ballyshannon. Also good value. Chris (the owner) was friendly and really helpful. Was able to give instant advice the couple of times we asked. Highly recommended.

We couldn't wait to stay at Cavangarden Court, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The house itself is filled with old world charm, and had everything we needed for our stay. If we needed help, Christopher was never far away, and nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to have good weather most of the week, so made good... More

So myself, hubby, 2 kids (5 and 10 months) my mum, dad and brother (17) all came to stay for 4 nights. Arrived to a lovely setting. Beautiful land with a little park and green to play football/frizby. The overall accommodation itself is a conversion of a barn and is in a courtyard setting. We had the middle house which... More

This was a superb choice of accommodation for 5 friends looking for a quiet get away for a long weekend. The owner, Chris was a superb help and made us all feel very welcome. He was on hand if we ever needed him for anything, even though he was awaiting the arrival of a new little one. The chapel was... More

We booked this because of the charming idea of staying in Ireland at a former chapel and on a huge estate. This place and location did not disappoint! If you need accommodation that is great for kids and pet friendly, then this is ideal self-catering with the option of cooked breakfasts in the main house. Really good value for money,... More
