Outstanding furnishings so tastefully decorated everywhere, in study, lovely beds, shower was easy to work and water temp and pressure were good. So much light in the room! Skylight in the bathroom. Sit down area for makeup included a plug-in below for hairdryer. Peaceful and incredibly quiet. Woke up to hear mooing from cows, but we we had our windows... More

On the Quay Road in the countryside near Ballina, this is a first rate, award-winning B&B run by Dolores Jordan. We had a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside from the window of our second floor room. TV, WiFi, ensuite bath, lots of closet space, wonderful breakfasts, coffee and cookies around the clock, lovely decor, comfortable bed. Perhaps the best... More

We stayed for two nights at the home of Mark & Dolores with friends over a recent bank holiday - booking two triple rooms and a double. We really enjoyed the beautiful house with the amazing view onto the river. Ballina was crazy with the Bank holiday and Dolores & Mark chased around for a restaurant with place for 8... More

We stayed for one night at the home of Dolores and really enjoyed the beautiful house with the amazing view on the river. The rooms are all ensuite and very comfortable, there is also a living room on the ground floor where the guests can stay and have a cup of tea or cappuccino. There is free wifi available in... This is all you could want and more in a B&B. Although we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed every minute. Dolores is wonderful host and very attentive. She greeted us and showed us to our room (room 3) which had a wonderful view of the surrounding area. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was first... More

We loved our stay at Red River Lodge. We were warmly welcomed by Dolores. Our large inviting room featured a heavenly bed and was beautifully appointed. The en-suite bathroom was luxurious and immaculately clean. Both the garden and house are beautiful. The breakfast is fantastic and Dolores accommodated us by having it read for 7.30am. I would highly recommend Red... More

We arrived fairly jet lagged and were met by Delores who showed us to our fabulous room. We were in #1. It has a double bed and also a twin bed and has such a lovely view of the River Moy estuary. We very much appreciated that we could have breakfast and 9, and so didn't feel rushed at all.... More
