Leim Siar is an excellent location for exploring the beaches and general locality of the Belmullet Peninsula. The beaches are wonderful to walk on - check the tide-tables for the best time to walk on a deserted beach. Wind & waves on the beaches on western side of the peninsula but gentle breezes and ripples on eastern side. Our hostess,... More

We stayed with Hannah for two nights in October. I'm almost at a loss for words to describe how wonderful it (and Hannah) was. This was a very special trip for me. My Irish ancestors left Belmulllet for America in the 1880s, and I was returning for my first Irish family reunion. Hannah insisted on driving us around and showing... More

Leim Siar is an oasis at the very tip of Blacksod Bay surrounded on three sides by sea and sky. Hannah has created a little haven of peace and tranquillity where one can absorb the landscape and be assured of some lovely company and wonderfully creative vittles' on returning. She and her family, with the help of some lovely local... More

This was the last stay of our holiday and the most memorable - for all the right reasons. A wonderful location on the wild atlantic coast in the remote and beautiful Blacksod peninsula. The B&B is run by Hannah and her team - welcoming, relaxed, friendly atmosphere in spacious, clean, light-filled accommodation - an outstanding breakfast of fresh fruit and... More

We stayed in Leim Siar for three nights. Hannah and her lovely team were so inviting. The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. We had a great choice for breakfast from fresh fruit, full Irish to pancakes freshly prepared. Hannah helped us to dry our wet hiking boots and recommended various treks to us each morning. I would highly recommend... More

This was my second trip to Ireland and arguably the most beautiful place I have stayed. Located on a quiet peninsula where Gaelic is still spoken the location makes you feel as if you are truly in the old country and not on the tourist tract. I was traveling with my mother and 2 year old. The owner Hannah goes... More

We, (my 14yo son, 19yo neice and I) recently spent a very happy and comfortable couple of nights in Leim Siar. Hannah couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a very pleasant stay. Hannah's BnB is very clean and comfortable. We slept like logs and Hannah even encouraged us to sleep on in the morning if we needed the... More

Stayed in Leim Siar for 2 nights as my daughter was attending the local Collaiste Uisce. I found the B&B to be clean, fresh, comfortable and perfect for what we required. Hannah was so warm and friendly. Full of great information of what to do in the local area. The breakfast was superb with plenty to choose from. The drive... More

We stayed here at the midpoint of a long, busy (verging on exhausting) tour of Ireland. The house and the room were excellent in every way. The staff were wonderful, and our hostess was a true angel. We were tired and cranky and wet with rain. With some rare magic, Hannah chased the gremlins away and turned the visit from... More
