We had the most delightful stay at the Leim Siar and Hannah was the most gracious hostess. We hated to live the cozy inn and hope to be back again soon. Breakfast was perfect and sitting by the fireplace on a rainy afternoon made for a wonderful respite.
My son and I spent 6 days at Leim Siar with Hannah and her wonderful family and staff. We took this vacation knowing some of our family had lived near Blacksod Bay and Binghamstown. Hannah and all of her family and staff were not only perfect hosts, but also critical in helping my son and I find connections to the family we had in the area. Hannah referred us to some local historians that ended up introducing my son and I to a 3rd cousin still living in the area. I would also like to thank Pops, Catherine, Anna and Rosemarie for all the work they did to show us where our family came from an for providing us with the connections and experiences that will last our family many lifetimes. You couldn't find better accommodations, better friends, or better views in all of Ireland if you tried. There is a reason Leim Siar has a 5 star rating after this long, and it's because of the people. You too, should come back to Ireland and see it from Blacksod at Leim Siar!…
This is the third time I have stayed with Hannah and her wonderful staff. The facilities and service are above and beyond what you may expect from a B&B. Rooms spotless and the Breakfast is like a feast. All dietary requirements catered for there are 5 star hotels who would be envious of the standard of food provided. Hannah's knowledge of the area is fantastic and she provides a great service in recommending to guests places they may enjoy and where to find them. The Irish Tourist Board should put her on the payroll. See you again
This is our bolt hole when we stay on the peninsula. Hannah Quigley will make your stay a very warm and hospitable one. From serving a lovely Irish breakfast or whatever you prefer. To helping you on your tour of the area with trips and tips. This area has boat trips to the islands, magnificent views, and beaches on both the wild and calm side to suit swimming and surfing, look for the blue flags. We love our stays here and will be here soon again.
We chose this B&B as we were doing a mini tour of the surrounding area. We were not disappointed. A very warm welcome from our host Hannah, access to a shared lounge area with stove and TV, kitchen area for making tea's and coffee's in the evening, very welcome after exploring the beaches and scenery on a wet and blustery day! The room was very clean and had everything that you could need. Breakfast was great, fresh baked scones and bread along with many other options. Couldn't have asked for more! Hannah was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and gave us great ideas for further exploration.
