What a wonderful experience. We stayed two nights and are now at another B&B in another part of Ireland and all we can say is "we miss Jimmy and Noreen." They are lovely, engaging, and fun. Like family but even better! The breakfasts were indeed delicious, the conversation delightful, the room decidedly comfortable. Please don't miss a chance to go... More

Though we got lost on the way (our own fault or the fault of our Garmin), this B&B is run by two of the nicest people who went out of their way to make us comfortable. Loved Jimmy''s breakfasts and Noreen's great guidance and history of the area. It was also nice to meet others who stayed here and share... More

On our trip to Ireland and Scotland, this was the place I was most looking forward to. We were greeted by our host, Jimmy, and invited into the parlor to enjoy freshly baked cookies and scones. While the location is a ways from town, the setting is lovely, green and pastoral. Jimmy offered suggestions on places to dine in town... More

We had the great luck of experiencing hospitality at its finest all week staying at various B&B's across Ireland. Forest of the Roses was no exception. Jimmy was charming, helpful and friendly. The room was the biggest we stayed at the whole week, with great views of the farms nearby. The bed was the most comfortable we experienced and we... More

After 16 miles of hiking on the Dingle Way, we were a bit lost trying to find this B&B. Luckily, we ran into a couple of older gentlemen (speaking in Gaelic) on the side of the road, and they pointed us in the right direction. Turns out, everyone seems to know Jimmy, and for good reason. He is incredibly friendly... More

The breakfast! Oatmeal with Bailey's, just the thing! (and of course your usual Irish breakfast with eggs and meat! Home made scones just yummy and light.) Jimmy, our host, so easy and personable, just the person you want to talk to after a long day sightseeing. He accommodated all our wishes for room changes, made the perfect recommendation for dinner... More

Jimmy is fantastic! We stayed in a lot of places on this trip, but Jimmy was hard to beat! The B&B is clean and comfortable, with beautiful views. The breakfast was over the top fantastic! Jimmy got up early to make us the most amazing food! Everything was home made. He kept popping in with the loveliest things fresh from... More

Looking for a true Irish experience? This is it. Jimmy was raised just a few few houses away. He is a gracious host. Our first night there he invited us to join him (along with father and friends) for a Guinness or two at the local pub, his treat. Incredible hospitality & first rate location. Only suggestion - although this... More

You can't help but love this place. Jimmy provides the most welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, comfortable rooms with lovely views, terrific breakfasts, and tea when you walk in the door. There is a living room area where guests have tea, relax and socialize. Everyone seems to feel at home here. One caveat: if you want to hear music at pubs... More

My mother and I travelled to Ireland for the first time this past June. We were in Ireland for a total of 12 days with Dingle being the second to last stop. We stayed three nights with Jimmy and couldn´t have asked for more. While his place is a good 10 minute drive from the center of town, we came... More
