The facilities and the people were wonderful. The guesthouse is immaculate and charming. Helen describes herself as a shopper and she and Brian have decorated with antiques, but the feel is modern comfort. At least some of the antiques are for sale if you fall in love. The bathrooms are large and feel new and bright. The rooms are attractive,The...

We visited Ireland in May 2015 and were lucky enough to stay at Castlewood for two nights during our visit. We are going back in March 2017 and this was the first place we booked to stay. We were immediately impressed driving up to the property. The house overlooks the water and we had booked a junior suite on the...

Helen and Brian are outstanding hosts. From the welcome mimosa to the tasty breakfast selections and clean, comfortable well appointed rooms, we had a great experience. I suggest you spend time reading and relaxing in the parlor. Thanks so much for a great experience.

This property is #1 in Dingle for a reason. It looks absolutely brand-new - like it opened yesterday. Everything is in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms spacious - and we just had a basic room. The glass of champagne (or sparkling wine?) on arrival is a lovely touch. The breakfast was one...

Castlewood house was the first stop on our 10 night stay in Ireland. It is by far the best place we stayed along the way and now we wished that we would have spent many more days and nights in Dingle! Our room had a lovely view, a big comfortable bed, nice robes, towels and a large jetted bathtub. Its...

We booked Dingle for new years celebrations and had heard pretty good things about Casltewood House and the reviews on TripAdvisor also led us to believe we had found the ideal location. We weren't disappointed and it actually went beyond what our expectations were. It was a really enjoyable stay from start to finish. When we checked in Brian was...

My husband and I stayed at Castlewood House in November. It's located a short walk from the downtown strip, right across from the bay. The house itself is quaint and cozy, lovingly furnished in Victorian decor. The food is wonderful - you absolutely must try the oatmeal! All that said, what sets this guesthouse apart is the owners who truly...
