My husband and I loved our 2 night stay at Castlewood House. It is well located, right at the start of the Slea Head Drive, and only about a 10 minute walk from Dingle Town. The lounge is very cozy, and the breakfast was the best of our trip. Try the pancakes! Brian and Helen were very welcoming and have...

So yesterday in the United States was Thanksgiving, a day to acknowledge what we are thankful for during the past year. I am of course thankful for friends and family in the traditional sense, but this year I gladly add and acknowledge my gratitude for new friends. Real friends are not made by a quick passing; they are made over...

After 3 weeks in Ireland this was clearly our top experience. It's a beautiful, classy, tasteful, professionally run boutique hotel. The service is top rate, breakfasts 6 star, rooms lovely. We have travelled to most countries in the world and Castlewood is right up there for us. You can't help but be impressed. Thank your lucky stars if you manage...

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Castlewood House. From Brian's greeting when we arrived to hugs and advice on where to go in Dublin from Helen on our departure, everything was perfect. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

I wasn't sure what to expect considering all the excellent reviews but I must say that we were not disappointed. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and capable. And all the other little extras were fully appreciated. We will definitely be back.

This guesthouse is, by far, our favourite place to stay at home here in Ireland. It was our fourth visit, our first with our 2 and 1/2 year old daughter. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, who were helpful and kind for the entire weekend without being over bearing. The rooms are beautifully laid...

I was traveling with a group of lovely people, but I decided one morning to take a break from sight-seeing and have a day to myself. I told my waitress. SHE told the concierge that the woman out there (me) didn't like any of her tour-mates, and the concierge took it upon himself to tell that to our tour leader!...

Thank you for your comments, which may we say we were very disappointed to read. At Castlewood House we look after people and that is what we do on a daily basis and have been doing for 11 years, and this is what drives us and gives us great pleasure in our work, meeting people and looking after them. Our...

Brian and Helen know how to make guests feel welcome. Innovative food at breakfast (along with the Irish standards) and comfortable rooms within easy walking distance of the center of Dingle mean that we will be back next year.

We could not have had a more lovely experience at the Castlewood House. After a harrowing drive from Galway, we were warmly greeted by Brian, who showed us to our superb accommodations. Attention is paid to every detail in this boutique hotel, from the artwork throughout, the eclectic mix of antique and vintage furnishings, purified water in the rooms, afternoon...
