We were the only ones staying at the bed and breakfast. Our room had huge windows that look out at the ocean. It was misty and cold at this time of year. The days are short so we did a lot of driving but not much walking around. If you watched you could see the dolphin swimming right out your... More

We stayed here for two nights on a three week walking holiday. We could not have been happier with it! The room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful, and the views were spectacular! Maggie called ahead for us and set us up to tour the Blasket Islands which was fantastic! The B&B is an easy walk to town on a lovely... More

2 nights here was not enough. This B&B was amazing. The bay view room was amazing. It was large and a large bathroom. The place was very quiet. Maggie was very friendly and gave great tips for where to eat in town. She went out of her way to clean our dirty laundry, which was amazing. Breakfast was great. There... More

I found the Emlagh Lodge online while planning our trip to Ireland this summer. The pictures we saw were beautiful and the price was very reasonable, so I started email corresponding with Maggie to book our room. She was great from the start. Very responsive and helpful. I was eager to get there! About a week prior to our stay,... More

Emlagh Lodge is a treasure tucked into a quiet curve of Dingle Harbor. (The harbor's commercial activity is out of sight, except, for the occasional fishing boat that, quite possibly, is on its way to catch your dinner.) The well-tended B&B of eighteen years is sparkling clean and breakfasts are generous and delicious thanks to the delightful proprietress, Maggie Flaherty.... More

We had a little difficulty finding the lodge initially but that was because we didn't have a street address. The owner Maggie, provided us with exact written directions to get to the lodge and we did find it! Absolutely beautiful views from the bedrooms ( Bay view and Seaview). So close to town and a wonderful walk along the oceans... More

Stayed here for two nights. Maggie was very accommodating with our checkin. We got lost on our way to Dingle so we arrived later than planned and had intermittent cell service that hindered our communication, but Maggie was a trooper and made it seamless for us. This was absolutely the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in. The decor was... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Emlagh Lodge five years prior. This was our adult children's first visit. Maggie is the kindest and runs the tidiest of any B & B we have ever stayed at. That is why Emlagh Lodge is absolutely our first choice of B & B's in Dingle. We were so lucky... More

I cannot imagine how Emlagh Lodge is only no. 16 or so in Dingle. My wife and I have traveled a great deal, almost always stay in B&B's, and this is one of our top five in many ways. By the way, do NOT confuse the Emlagh Lodge with the nearby Emlagh House. I believe there are four guestrooms and... More

On our recent trip to Ireland we were delighted to find the country was basking in a heatwave. But add to that a b&b that had the most outstanding views from the bedroom window and you think things can't get any better. But in the morning, they did. Our lovely hostess Maggie cooks the most perfect Irish breakfast that sets... More
