Having walked 23 miles in a day when we had had the full experience of "Irish Rain", we arrived somewhat wet and bedraggled at Brosnans. The reception was hardly welcoming (we had to establish the owners name) and given the nature of the day asked about drying facilities. Unfortunately, there were no such facilities and "the best thing we could... More

We stayed here while in Dingle to attend a family wedding. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were also pristine. The family were really welcoming in a low key, non intrusive way. There is a comfortable sitting room for guests to relax in. There are tea making facilities in the sitting room. We were delighted with the Brosnan's... More

I stayed 3 nights with John and Eileen in Dingle. The weather was just awful, but I still had a great time. I needed some down time. John was kind enough to drive me around the peninsula because the tourist information was closed on Sunday and no tours seem to go. We had some good laughs with John describing what... More

We arrived at the doorstep of the Brosnans after a wonderful day of touring from Galway to Dingle. We had spent the week enjoying our dream vacation in Ireland and needed a place just to relax -Brosnans' B&B was the perfect fit for our family. We were greeted by John in his joyful warm manner and we were guided to... More

After finishing our longest day hiking the Dingle way, we were greeted by John upon arriving. The rooms were large, clean and modern with beautiful views of the town. Breakfast was delicious and since this was the first B&B we stayed that didn't have coffee access in the rooms, he kindly fixed me a cup before breakfast. The lively town... More

John and Eileen were wonderful hosts. When we arrived we were very tired after a long drive; John intuited this right away and couldn't have been kinder. He recommended a fish and chip place for dinner, then drove me to the place to make the order. While we waited he gave me a quick tour of Dingle, pointing out where... More

We stayed here during our trek of the Dingle Way. Our host was fantastic as was breakfast. Room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable including ensuite. Common spaces were nice too. We had issues with the wi-fi but other guests seem to be connecting ok. There is free Marina wi-fi you can access from the property anyways as back-up. Location... More

Stayed at this B&B for one night and could not sleep a wink. They assigned a room with a bed so small and uncomfortable. Worst part was the room faced the road which street lights were so bright you couldn't possibly sleep. Owner was apologetic but I definitely think they need to upgrade these rooms. If you're a single traveller... More

As many of us know, it’s the character of the Irish that makes them great. John Brosnan is one of those characters and I’ve made a wonderful new friend. His life story only adds to the great feeling of family and being at his home. Walking the Dingle Way and becoming seriously dehydrated left me in not such great health... More

My wife and I walked from “inn to inn” along the Dingle Way for five days. The B&Bs we stayed in were chosen for us by HillWalk Tours, who provided an excellent package. All of the B&Bs were quite good, and we assume that that is partly because HillWalk has a great deal of experience in this area and chose... More
