Although the scenery and views are simply breathtaking, the hotel itself is a disappointment. The rooms are small, out of date and have a fusty smell. Every door close, voice and bang can be heard from the bedroom. No drinking water provided. Breakfast is ok, however, room is not large enough to cater for demand and therefore waits are likely.... "Dingle is a lovely place if you get the weather" Is what you'll often hear, well we went over a 5 day break in August 2016 and the weather was awful but it didn't matter one bit because we were lucky enough to be staying at the Skellig Hotel. The hotel is ideally placed with wonderful views of the bay,... More

Four of us stayed here early August. It's a lovely hotel with a great view. We had three very large rooms, mine had a double and single bed. There were quite a lot of children staying there as the hotel seems to cater well for children in the school holidays. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was included in... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dingle Skellig Hotel. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in assisting us with information and seeing Slea Head Road. The views over the water are awesome.

Stayed here in June for my friends hen party and can't fault a single thing about this hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing so helpful and must say thanks to the lady on reception that sowed my dress for me after I slitting the slit by accident she was so nice and helpful just wish I could remember her name... We had our wedding in the Dingle Skellig last week (Aug 18th) and from start to finish the staff made our experience as wonderful as we could have hoped! From the planning stages to the actual wedding Aisling, Rosarii, Breeda and Sheila were always on hand to answer any queries we had. Throughout the week that we stayed for the... More

Just spent a couple of nights in this hotel which is in a fabulous location overlooking the sea. The hotel is very famy friendly with indoor and outdoor play areas for kids and kids mealtimes. The pool is a great size but was a little on the cold side if you are bringing in babies. The food in the bar... More

Fantastic week long stay with children 6, 10 & 12. Everything a bit dated but spotlessly clean and perfectly functional, including leisure centre, kids club, games room. Views are spectacular, staff are friendly and very attentive. Food for kids is unbelievable, particularly the pancake maker and the evening children's buffet. Bar food is good but pricey. Main restaurant is not... More

What a truly fantastic hotel. Rooms really nice, comfortable n even have chairs to take in the spectacular views. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, you could easily stay there all day, you probably won't just have 1 thing/plate for breakfast. Bar lovely, even bites they offer in here are wonderful. As we were attending a wedding didn't have a chance to... More

We spent two nights in this hotel last week with our two and three year olds. It was great (other than breakfast was a bit trying trying to keep our little guy away from the buffet breakfast bar!). When booking I was looking for interconnecting rooms but there were not left, the receptionist recommended room 300 - perfect. There's an... More
