After a misty walk along the Dingle way, we were whisked to 'An Spiece' B&B by the lovely Alice, our host. She is a lively, funny lady for whom nothing is too much trouble. After a warm welcome, Alice showed us to a pristine room which overlooked the garden. We were provided with warm scones and a pot of tea... More

Alice greeted us after a beautiful day hiking along the Dingle Way and drove us to her B&B from our pickup spot in Slea Head. We were offered coffee&scones as we settled in to our gorgeous rooms that were clean and comfortable. Ballyferriter was a 5-10 minute walk away and her sunroom overlooking the 3 sisters and the water was... More

My wife and I walked from “inn to inn” along the Dingle Way for five days. The B&Bs we stayed in were chosen for us by HillWalk Tours, who provided an excellent package. All of the B&Bs were quite good, and we assume that that is partly because HillWalk has a great deal of experience in this area and chose... More

The sun room here has panaramic views of the sea and mountains, and the generous selection of teas and chocolate bars in the next room are all you need to spend the afternoon in this pleasant room. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, with a nice view of the back garden and a sheep pasture, complete with sheep! Alice... More

We recently spent two nights in Ballyferriter and An speice was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We were warmly greeted by Alice and her delicious tea cakes along with hot tea and I am sure we did not leave even a crumb behind. They were divine!! Our room was very pretty & tidy and Alice... Lovely B&B, very kind owner, pity that we didn't have time to enjoy the glass room with the view at the ocean. Everything is very tidy and cozy, rooms have a beautiful view at the back garden. By accident and our fault something got broken in the bathroom during our stay, but the lady didn't make any problem out if... More

we arrived in Ireland on a Thursday and made no plans for each nite until we found a spot we wanted to stay. On this Tuesday, we were near Ballyfreitter and stopped at a pottery business near by. The person recommended An Speice and we rang them up and stopped shorty. The place is perfect for a BB. The room... More

An Spéice is run by a kind, funny, thoughtful woman named Alice, who welcomed me into her home with great hospitality. There was no bus on the day I came to that far west end of Corca Dhúibhne, so Alice picked me up in Dingle town and drove me to Ballyferriter. She fed all her guests wonderful big breakfasts, made... When I first contacted Alice about accommodation at An Speice she tempted us in with the promise of tea, scones and a mountain view upon arrival - needless to say we were sold! Expectations and anticipations were high, but Alice met them all with ease. Shortly aftr arriving we were invited into a warm, sunlit tearoom with spectacular views of... More
