We stayed in Kenmare for 3 nights and enjoyed our time in the Druid Cottage The owners Bernadette and Philip were very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us with our sightseeing in and around Kenmare. The short walk into town was enjoyable, my daughter and I enjoyed seeing the sheep along the way.

We stayed at Druid Cottage for one night during our trip to Kenmare. It was a wonderful stay. We were greeted promptly at our arrival by Phillip and he showed us to our room. The room was small and quaint and had everything we needed. He recommended where to go for dinner, drinks and music and we had a fabulous... More

What a lovely cottage with a wonderful owner in Bernadette. We stayed here one night in a twin room and could not have been more comfortable. Bernadette was great with information about the area and the shortcut walk to town. The beds were comfy the room spotless and the breakfast hearty and tasty. Would recommend to all.

I loved Druid Cottage. After a hard days walking, the name Druid Cottage evoked lovely images in my head - it lived up to it! Wonderful house with loads of history and character - quirky bedroom with wooden ceiling, comfy bed, lovely warm room which all comes second to the warm welcome we got from Bernadette and Philip. We had... More

There's not much to say about a B&B except that it was nice and warm, clean and good value for money. Didn't spend a lot of time there, as we were going to a party elsewhere, but would certainly have no hesitation in recommending it. Minor niggle was that the card machine didn't work, so we had to pay cash... More

I've read some of the other reviews and some make me wonder if I stayed in the same place. I had emailed Bernadette a couple of weeks before we left for Ireland to see if we could leave our car. She was gracious about allowing us to do that and my brief phone call with her a couple a bit... More

We were in Kenmare for two nights as we were attending a friends wedding in Sheen Falls. Bernadette and Philip were fantastic hosts and very welcoming! The house is just fantastic and beautifully decorated, I only wish we could have stayed a bit longer. We will be back! Great value, short walk town, fab food and great amenities, you couldnt... We received a warm greeting from the dog and that is where the welcome stopped. Bernadette was frazzled from the minute we arrived, questioning whether we had a reservation (we did). Apparently her husband had checked in another couple under our name. Bernadette showed us to another room (very small without much character but ok for a single night). She... More

A cute little B&B close to everything we wanted to do. Phil and Bernadette were very welcoming hosts. The rooms were small but were perfectly fine for us. The breakfast was yummy and ready when we came downstairs. Benji, the welcoming committee and family dog was excited to see and meet new people and made our stay even more special.
