My girlfriend and I stayed in Willow Lodge last weekend as we were attending a wedding in Kenmare. Both the husband and wife of the B&B were very friendly. The location is a minute's walk from the town as well which is ideal. The breakfast both morning was delicious as well. My only slight grievance was that €100 a night... More

This B/B was a great place to stay for my family and me during our visit to Kenmare. Paul could not have been a better host and the room was neat and clean. Breakfast was outstanding and Paul helped us with our plans for each day. Highly recommended!

Myself and the husband stayed there for one night and had a wonderful time. Our hosts were so helpful, friendly, and funny. Great recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do. Breakfast was lovely but best of all it was so wonderful and quiet. Slept so well. Would recommend. Lovely spot.

Paul was an amazing host; he helped us with a plan for one of our 2 days--the weather was beyond an Irish must so we needed something that involved a bit of indoor time. He provided great recommendations for sights around Killarney and a scenic drive that despite the rain was beautiful. The quad room was quite large and comfortable... More

I am currently on a 10 day tour along th wild Atlantic way from Kinsale to Donegal with stops on route . I never book accommodation until last minute , but I thought that on a Tuesday or Wednesday in Kenmare it should not be a problem . I tried a couple of my usual places , sold out ,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our five nights at The Willows! Paul and Greta were wonderful hosts...and fixed delicious breakfasts! Paul was helpful in finding us a ride from Glengarriff to Kenmare when we were in a pinch. As a result we met a fabulous tour guide whose tour was one of the highlights of our trip. The room was exceptionally clean.... More

I generally would not write a bad review for a property as I feel places can have a bad day but this time I felt I had too. I was visiting Kenmare with my friend to participate in the Ring of Beara Cycle race. On arrival to the B/B the welcome was not as friendly as I would have imagined.... More

Generally I don’t respond to the niggardly scratchings of disgruntled keyboard warriors revelling in the anonymity of TripAdvisor since I feel issues are best resolved at the time and face to face. However, I well recall you Shane and your travelling companion . The pair of you arrived as we were trying to find suitable accommodation for two walkers we... More

When booking this B&B the owners made the place sound like it was quaint and whimsical. We didn't quite get what we expected. It was not as close to the main streets as expected but it does have a small parking lot! The decor is a bit worn, over decorated but not exactly cozy. The room was cold and plain.... More

We had a great couple nights with wonderful hosts Gretta and Paul. They were very helpful explaining how everything worked in the room and giving us recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Kenmare. They both had great senses of humor which made the visit that much more enjoyable. The breakfasts were great as well and very filling, highlighted... More

Comfortable and spacious room within walking distance to town, restaurants, shopping. Convenient central location to tour in many directions - Ring of Kerry, Ring of Beara and Killarney. Stayed three nights but easily could have used this location to stay longer to see and do more. Paul was entertaining and a GREAT source of info on where to go and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Willow Lodge, quietly situated in the grounds of the former Convent, is an "ideal location" as guests say, being only a short two minute stroll from the centre of town (three in heels !) And so away from the noise and bustle of the streets in town and the traffic. Parking is free here in our grounds and free WiFi is available for our guests convenience. So, no need to worry about what might happen to your car on the street overnight, or about town's hustle and noise coming up from the street or about dodging the early morning traffic warden.
