This is a great guesthouse on one of the main streets of Kenmare's village centre but on a quiet end. This facilities in the rooms are fabulous and the rooms are spacious with a heating rack on the bathroom which is great for drying clothes in the rainy weather. The owner is extremely helpful and the guesthouse has a lovely... More

Neil couldn't have been more helpful. I stayed with a friend to do the rok cycle and we booked a double bed by accident. We arrived too late on first night for anything to be done. While we were cycling the following day Neil.had all of our stuff moved to a new room so that we'd have our own beds... More

Stayed here for a night as we travelled the Ring of Kerry with my elderly mother. This is a guesthouse with no breakfast but above a lovely cafe/restaurant that served delicious and imaginative breakfasts for all tastes at a very reasonable price. Our room was quite small but perfectly adequate. Spotlessly clean, good shower and ensuite. Good value for a... More

Very uncomfortable bed - lots of springs. Loud music from restaurant downstairs, though they did turn off the outside speakers on request. Large room, very friendly staff. Great shower. Great location. Street parking only, 2 hours only between 11am and 4pm. Internet is OK, but not great. No breakfast.

Virginia's guesthouse is located smack dab in downtown Kenmare. The entrance to the guesthouse is adjacent to Mick and Jimmy's restaurant. The room itself was quite tiny, and we had a hard time sleeping because of street noise at night. However, the service itself was very nice. They have a small common room where you can relax with a cup... More

Good value for a clean, comfortable room and good service. I stayed at Virginia's in May of this year. Just found them through google in a frantic search for somewhere to stay that I could afford. They are very responsive to emails, but telephone will probably get you more direct service. The room was slightly dated, but that really doesn't... More

The tour book describes the wonderful breakfast and there isn't any provided. The information at the front describes the free street parking but that's only at night. The room and bathroom were not very clean and the only way to talk to the owner or manager is by using a telephone at the front desk; otherwise it is not manned.... More

Perfectly located right in the center of town. Neil is a perfectly charming man, even helping us carry luggage up the stairs. Some people are referring to it as a B&B, but there's no breakfast (not a problem, there are places within short walking distance for breakfast). Our room was a little small (shower too), but clean. Room was above... More

Kenmare was booked solid and we were lucky to get a room in Virginias. if it was not so expensive it would have been excellent. The room was very small for two and the shower stall was also pretty narrow. We stayed two nights . There were no staff apparent though the cleaning was done and the cafe next door... More

We booked in last minute and it was the best decision ever! The manager is a gent and the room was cozy and clean with a room with tea and coffee just down the hall. Absolutely loved it and would recommend it to everyone! It's also close to everything while there was works going on down stairs so no breakfast... More
