No tv or tea/coffee making facilities in room, nor extra blankets. Most b&b's we've been to would have a small shower gel and shampoo, and we never got the 'welcome package' advertised on the website. Breakfast was good, croissants and gorgeous locally baked bread but the "full irish" was 2 slices of bacon, a fried egg and a cherry tomato!... More

Terry and his wife were very welcoming and our stay was very comfortable. The b&b is 5 minute walk from the town but it's also very quiet. We had a lovely breakfast with juice, cereals, tea and coffee, although I missed having sausages on my fry. At the end he recommended us the Ring of Beara and it was well... More

Fantastic breakfast every morning. Terry also gave us fantastic trip advice for touring/eating/drinking in the area. Very relaxed atmosphere, beautiful rooms, fantastic location a mere 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Couldn't recommend it higher.

Booked last minute for party of 7 on a cycling trip to beara penninsula. Terry was excellent host with tea/coffee on arrival after a long drive being much appreciated. Large and tastefully decorated country home ideally located 5 minute walk from main st. Breakfast was great. Wifi(that worked)in all rooms.

The beautiful home is conveniently located on a quiet side street within a five minute walk to Kenmare center. We enjoyed talking with Terry, the host, who was charming and offered interesting local insights. He especially went out of his way to help us track down possible heritage links to the area. The room was clean and quiet, and we... More

We enjoyed a most pleasant stay at this charming B&B. Mine host Terry was interesting & welcoming & was prepared to talk either about everything & nothing at all, which was great. The room lacked TV & had blankets & sheets, what a relief, it was just what you wanted quiet, comfortable & clean. Breakfast was fine served in a... More

Had a very good four nights stay Room is comfortable though space is a little tighter Very homely feel to the whole experience Some points to note and depends on what's your personal preference. Shower area - tight but surely functional Room - no tv, tea facility unlike a hotel but you can get it in the kitchen anytime like... More

We booked rather late. I booked two double rooms for the three of us. However, when we arrived we were four. Terry didn't bat an eyelid - he welcomed us warmly and while my young friend recovered from a 19 hour flight by having a nap, Terry made tea and coffee for us. We sat in the very pleasant sitting... We stayed on sat night 10th Oct, nothing like the way it was advertised, a room with no TV, no towel rack, no radiator working, no tea or coffee making facilities, , ancient bed with furniture, no duvet, a blanket that must have been made in the 1950 ,s era, a very meagre breakfast that would not feed a mouse,... Anne and Terry are the friendliest, most welcoming hosts you’ll find. Their hospitality and generosity makes you feel right at home. And what a home! It’s absolutely stunning. Huge, beautifully appointed, bedrooms with private baths; magnificent art (my favorite); cozy sitting areas and an enchanting garden. Delicious food. Did I overdo it on the adjectives? I just couldn’t help myself!... More
