3 of us stayed here whilst on a golfing trip around Kerry. Located within walking distance of the centre of Kenmare, I'd defiantly stay again and highly recommend. Set in a nice location with a river flowing through the back garden (Garden area would be great on a warm day for relaxing ) A warm welcome awaits from Julia on... More

My wife and I stayed at An Bruachan in July 2016 as part of our honeymoon. The B&B itself is quite nice, very clean, and comfortable. Where this place shines is in it's incredibly friendly "staff". I put quotations around staff because I'm not sure if the two wonderful ladies that took care of us are employees, proprietors, or just... More

This is a very practical B&B situated about a mile north of the town square with a small stream running at the side of the property. The room was functional and clean. Our welcome was genuine and the breakfast was excellent. In particular, the bacon was cooked to perfection and locally sourced. Good value.

An Bruachan is a lovely B&B located in a wonderful location. Our room was delightful - it overlooked the creek in the back. Julia prepared wonderful breakfasts for us and was only too happy to provide information about the area. I were went back to Ireland, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great room, plenty of space and nicely decorated. It was an easy distance in a car to the centre of Kenmore, good parking and a lovely garden. I was tracking my family history and Julie had done some research for me and had a magazine with information when we arrived. Breakfast was lovely and the room bright... More

The guest Hostess made us completely comfortable. Tea in the afternoon, a very warm and comfortable room. A ride in to town for weary travelers, lovely breakfast in the morning. Beautiful property with a river in the back.

Julie was a very hospitable hostess. She served us tea, coffee and cake upon our arrival. She sat and talked to us and gave us a lot of information that was very helpful. Our breakfast was delicious. Either an Irish breakfast or a selection of omlets with various cheeses, spinach or savory with bacon and cheese. Our bed was very... More

Tired from a long day walking the Kerry Way, this a great place to refresh oneself. The rooms were spacious and clean, the "fill-in" hostess a delight. She drove us into town so we could buy dinner before the restaurants closed, as we were so late arriving. Several of us walked back to the B&B after dinner; it wasn't far,... More

Welcoming host and charming, comfortable double room with spacious bathroom. There is also a guest sitting room , as well as outdoor table and chairs in a sunny spot. Property is beside a shallow river and set well back from the road, just a 12 minute walk to town (torch useful in dark). Breakfast options included a delicious feta and... More

I stayed here one night with my wife as a starting point for the Ring of Kerry drive. Kenmare is a very good base for exploring the Ring of Kerry, I'd recommend staying here for a couple days if you plan on doing things around the area. This B&B is in walking distance to downtown Kenmare. Nobody was home when... More
