Located just outside town, next to the river. Imposing great building, nice room, great Irish breakfast, and last but not least a very attentive and friendly hostess. Recommended. Kenmare us an interesting village, comprising a triangle of roads with numerous bars, pubs and restaurants. A great stopover on the Kerry circuit.

Very peacefull charming hostess fine breakfast would recommend for a relaxing visit. One of the better aspects of our visit to Kenmare where we found that the abundance of tourists where i found that the Kerry charm had turned to greed and insousence in the "explorers " (clue) restaurant.

Hannah, our hostess, was very accommodating when we ran into a travel snag causing us to be later than planned. She was also a wonderful source of information about Kenmare, its history and amenities. The view from our room was absolutely stunning. Watching the tidal flows of the river and the play of light on the hills beyond town were... More

This two bed cottage sits at the back of the main house and still affords good if more restricted views of an area of great beauty. Full cream milk, real Irish butter and a freshly baked wheaten loaf was a thoughtful touch to our warm welcome. Pretty much every kitchen amenity was included, from fridge, oven and microwave to dishwasher,... More

Super rooms in a fine house overlooking the river near the town. Ten min walk into town. Good welcome and good breakfast. Car parking and pleasant gardens. Friendly owner with the house being in the family for many years.

Muxnaw Lodge is an excellent B&B located one the R571 road Just south of the center of Kenmare about 100 meters off the N71 road. It is a restored older house, restored to have en suite rooms for guests, free WiFi and comfortable spaces. Across the river is the town center that can be reached by about a ten to... More

What a charming place. The host was so warm and welcoming. My boyfriend and I stayed here a few months back for a weekend get away. Our room had a beautiful view of the water. The room was very quaint with quirky details as was the rest of the house. An amazing breakfast was served to us on both mornings.... More

Run by Hannah Boland, this upmarket B&B has only about 5 rooms. The location is very pretty - overlooking Kenmare River, and only a 10 minute stroll outside the town. The double rooms looking out to the front are spacious, and elegantly furnished - however a single room at the back was somewhat small and cramped. The welcome and hospitality... More

What a lovely place. We happened on this place by pure chance. We had driven from Kinsale through the Mizen head peninsula and needed a place to stay before embarking on the ring of Kerry. We had stopped at Molly Gallivans Cottage (a must stop) to see the great views. When we asked if their was someplace in Kenmare to... More

What a wonderful experience! Hannah was so warm and open, and the food, beds and rooms all TOP NOTCH! She gave us great tips about the area and what we needed to see (did not have much time in Ireland). Totally understand why she has a five star rating! Would go back in a heartbeat! Also felt that she was... More
