This was one of my stops during my trip to Ireland. The hotel is elegant and right in the center of town. It's just a few doors down from a castle, and there are beautiful grounds behind it with horses. The room was very large and nicely decorated; it was also quiet, despite the small nightclub off the lobby. The... More

Stayed here on December 30th. It was like home away from home. Lovely fire on in the lounger area where we sat and relaxed. Rooms were lovely and warm. Very clean and food was divine. Staff were very welcoming and could not do more for us. Will stay again.

We recently stayed in the hotel overnight and I was more than pleasantly surprised. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very well appointed with all the usual facilities. We ate in the bar and the food was excellent and very good value. I would definitely recommend a stay.

We had the pleasure of attending a 50th Wedding anniversary dinner in the Listowel Arms Hotel in November and all I can say is that it was fantastic. This classic hotel is situated in a town steeped in history based only meters from the home of writer John B Keane. There was such an extensive menu, the quality of food... More

This has all the virtues of an old-fashioned coaching inn. Rooms fairly basic, but quiet and comfortable. Outstanding service from very friendly staff. Dinner was excellent and beautifully presented. Full Irish breakfast looking out over the Feale river towards Listowel racecourse was OK, if a little on the dry side. Wi-fi fine in public areas, but no signal in our... More

Kerry Women's Interactive Network hosted their annual conference last Thursday 12th November. A big thanks to the Listowel Arms for making us and our speakers so welcome. All of our guests complimented their rooms highly and the lunch provided was absolutely superb. Our compliments to all of the hard working staff who delivered the very high standard of service we... Such a charming hotel. We were very surprised at how big the hotel was. The rooms were spacious and warm. The staff were very friendly, in particular the night porter. The view from the breakfast room was amazing, it overlooked the River Feale. We were able to help ourselves to juices, cereals and fruit etc. The hot breakfast was freshly... More

We, my sister and I, had booked a hotel in Ballybunion but upon arrival after driving from Dublin, the hotel was closed for the season. Just happened to see a nice gentleman on the street and he called Listowel Arms, sister hotel, and they made arrangements for our arrival. Fortunately it is not a long drive from Ballybunion since I... More

Surprisingly large hotel in the centre of Listowel, you get the feeling that this was once a rather grand hotel, but now is a bit tired. Rooms are spatious enough and clean. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is worth a visit. Definitely worth a look if you are staying in the area.

This is a charming hotel in the centre of Listowel, a town renowned for its writers and poets - literary giants. There is an air of hospitality once you enter and you have a sense of history and tradition, of literature and learning just as you overhear the locals and visitors talking to one another. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean,... More
