Beautiful villa in Fuerteventura. We stayed here for 5 days for my husbands 60 th birthday what a treat. As described the location is a good 45 - 50 minutes walk into town. This was not a problem to us as there are a few watering holes along the way if you should wish. The villa was absolutely stunning with the pictures advertised doing it justice. Absolutely beautiful! The Villa was spacious with everything that a person should need if self catering. We went bed and breakfast which was fantastic! The choice of food , fruit, beverages were second to none in a lovely light and airy environment. Morning staff were constantly on form from the greeter to the waiter/ waitresses. Always smiling and courteous. A special touch for my husband was a bottle of wine and card in the villa from the resort on his birthday , this was unexpected but really made his day. We would definitely recommend these villas if you are happy to walk and be out of town. There are supermarkets near by and taxis freely available for approx 6 euros. Thank you for a lovely time .

This complex is amazing. The welcome from staff on arrival was brilliant and they were so friendly. They even take you to your villa and explain everything to you. The complex itself is spotless. Everyday we saw someone painting, it’s like being in a Disneyland set as it’s so tidy and perfect. The villa itself is amazing, everything you could possibly need. We stayed in January and didn’t pay to heat the pool and it was always 27 degrees so ok to go in and use. Loved the roof terrace and watching the sun set from the jacuzzi every night. Breakfast was amazing and so peaceful, even the music that was played was great. There is nothing to fault at all except for other British holidaymakers who were sometimes a little loud whilst in their pool and jacuzzi. Please consider how much noise travels and other people may be wanting peace and quiet. The location is on the outskirts of town, however there are amenities nearby, Lidl and the mercadona can be seen from the entrance they are that close to the complex. There is a hill next to the complex which is easy to walk and has great views, especially at sunset. We went to the snooty fox pub and really enjoyed it. Chatting with the locals and finding out places to go. There are electric scooters by hoppy which we used to get to and from the town. These are 30p a minute which works out at about 6 euro to get into town or a taxi is 6 euro. The roads aren’t very busy so we enjoyed the scooters as part of the experience. Also there are chipmunks on the derelict land opposite the complex which are great to go and see. They live in the rocks at the side of the path, we watched these while waiting for our transfer bus home and was a perfect end to the holiday. We will most certainly be back, possibly for my big birthday next year with a few friends. So relaxed and peaceful.

Wow wow wow. What can I say? We had four days at the resort and it was simply amazing. Upon arrival we were greeted at the security gate by the guard who took our bags and directed us to check in at reception. We were checked in in a matter of minutes then we were taken in a golf buggy to our villa. We had a Royal two bedroom villa with heated pool. It was immaculately clean inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, plus another separate toilet. Smart tv was great for our two year old to keep her occupied at times, we were able to watch her favourite programmes on YouTube and Netflix. Bed was extremely comfortable. WiFi was also brilliant. Prior to our stay I requested a travel cot and high chair, both of which were already in our villa when we arrived. The travel cot had a proper mattress and bedding. Our pool was around 26-27 degrees which was fine once you were in. We opted for half board…and both breakfast and dinner were superb! Not too much choice but enough. Coffee at breakfast wasn’t great but we’ll let that go because everything else was fantastic. Drinks were reasonably priced. We took advantage of room service twice (which from memory is available between 12:30pm-6:30pm). Again not much choice but enough, and reasonably priced. Small play area for children which our two year old loved. We walked to Corralejo every day. This took around 40-45 mins. The path is very uneven for the first part of the walk but perfectly fine after that. Beautiful place for food, drinks and shopping. Especially the old town which is another 10/15 minute walk away. The beach is gorgeous too. As previous reviews state, taxi back to the resort was €7. Plenty of taxis available. Every member of staff at the resort was very friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. My only little gripe was the upstairs area of our villa…..the hot tub wasn’t hot at all. In fact cooler than the main pool itself. And the sun loungers and Bali bed really could do with replacing as they seemed a little worn. But again these things are easily forgiven as the rest of the stay was phenomenal. I would highly recommend, fix the tiny problems and it would be 10/10. Overall for us we would give the resort 9.4/10. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Spacious villa both inside and out. Fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher and a washing machine up on the roof where the hot tub and barbeque also live. Consumables for both the dishwasher and the washing machine are supplied as is washing-up liquid. On the TV, Netflix and Prime are available as long as you already have accounts - otherwise you are limited to a few cable Spanish channels. YouTube and other Apps are also available. We paid extra to have the private pool heated but it didn't seem to make much difference so next time, we would not opt for the heating. The hot tub was fine and it also had the easiest-to-remove hot tub lid that we've ever come across. The staff - every single one - from the security gate to reception and the restaurant, were all outstanding. Breakfasts and evening meals are buffet affairs with food of a high standard. The one disadvantage is that there isn't always a suitable main available for vegetarians and the veggies end up either having a "scrappy" meal or have to find a member of staff to have something special made - which isn't ideal. If in doubt, go B&B rather than Half Board. The resort is a few miles outside Corralejo on a sort of half-populated estate comprised of residential gated areas alongside the Bahiazul Resort. This means that the two supermarkets just a few minutes walk away (Lidl and Mercadona) are well-stocked and very handy given that the Bahiazul villas all have complete kitchens. There is also an Italian restaurant a few minutes walk away but we didn't try it this time round. We'll be returning though, so will try it then.

Had a fantastic week here, so good we have booked again for next week. So many many good points. Villa we had was one of the newly refurbished but was great. (Couple of minor issues such as crack in sink and both bed side lights need to be on at same time). The lounge, dining area was lovely. Kitchen had everything you needed including dishwasher tabs and washing machine tabs. Bedroom spacious with lots of space. Large bathroom with nice toiletries included. Pool heated to 24 degrees which is the standard for Canaries, with sun beds and eating/seating area. Roof terrace has a large BBQ dining area as well as more sun beds. Location is 40 mins walk from town however two large supermarkets within 10 min walk. (Liddle and Mercado both well stocked, prefer Mercado). A couple of bars within 15 min walk both serving lovely food and reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast is included and I can say it was superb. There is something for everyone, great quality and replenished constantly. We took advantage of a three night evening meal offer and can highly recommend as well. Food was amazing and wine very well priced. Happy hour buy one get one free drinks well used. Every member of staff was great and always acknowledged you when passing. The maintenance staff work tirelessly. We seen them everyday working on different areas. The lovely security guard greeted you with a smile each day and picked us up on the last day with our luggage. Looking forward to returning next year. X

Absolutely spotlessly clean inside and out. Pool and pool area doesn't get any sun all day. House keeping change bed towels and cleaning only every four days so once if your staying for a week. £200 a week if you want you're pool heated. A car is a must as it is in the middle of nowhere. Absolutely nothing for kids a slide near the restaurant. Very over priced in my opinion.

Response from Marceline Abadeer, Atención al cliente/recepción at Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura
Responded Jan 16, 2024
Dear jackiemW7889PC, Thank you for choosing Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura as your holiday destination. Thank you for your comments and your opinion. It is very important for us to improve. We appreciate you have pointed out the cleaning of our villas. Standard interior cleaning is every four days in Superior Club and Premier villas, every two days in Royal and daily in Excellence Villa. Our guests can always choose to have extra cleanings if they wish. It's also possible to ask reception for fresh extra towels, free of charge. Royal and Excellence Villas have the heated pool included. For Superior and Premier you need to ask to switch it on three/four days before your arrival. We guarantee a minimum of 24º. One of the main reason our guests choose Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura, as their holiday destination, is actually the area where it's situated: quite and far away from the crowd and the noise but not too far from the town and the beaches that you can reach in 5/10 minutes by car. In case you prefer to take a taxi it is from 7€. In the complex you can find a small play area and 5 minutes by walking there is another bigger one, with more choice where the kids can have a lot of fun. Please remember the reception is always happy to help you by giving you all kinds of information. We hope to have the opportunity of seeing you again in the future. Your sincerely, M. Abadeer

We’ve just returned from a week at Bahiazul and wow, what a week we had. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the friendly security guard at the gate who kindly took our suitcases and told us to head downstairs to the reception area. The staff there were equally as friendly (special mention for Pascal, he checked us in and then went above and beyond every time we seen him). Check in was quick and efficient and we were given a glass of sparkling wine which was an amazing touch. We were then led back outside where we were provided with a towel each from the security hut at the gate, we were informed we could exchange these at any time, pascal drove us to our villa one of the small golf buggies, he came in and gave a quick tour of the villa and explained how things worked but didn’t hang around for too long as he was keen for us to start enjoying our stay. The villa itself is incredible, large well equipped kitchen/living area with modern appliances and a smart TV, the bedroom had a comfortable double bed and a large amount of cupboard space, the en-suite is a little basic but had a very powerful double headed shower with wall jets which was incredible, there is also a smaller toilet just off the living area. The pool area is also a good size and very private, with a large table, some comfortable lounger chairs and two Sun loungers. The pool is a decent size with a decent enough depth for swimming, we chose not to have the pool heated and it was regulated at a constant temperature of 22 degrees which we found absolutely perfect but some folk may find it a little chilly. There is also a roof terrace with a large Bali bed, 2 more sun loungers and a hot tub, again this area is very private, whilst you can occasionally see other people walking around you’d have to make a real effort to look in on someone which we never had any experience of. Towards the end of our stay we had a family with a young child move in next door, I understand that everyone is there to enjoy their holiday the constant screaming and shouting did shatter the peace somewhat, (not Bahiazul’s fault I know!) We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis, we found the quality of the breakfasts to be good with a large, varied selection of hot and cold food and show cooking area which sometimes was better than others. We also decided to try the restaurant for dinner one night, like breakfasts this is served as a buffet with another decent selection of hot and cold foods with another show cooking area, whilst I wouldn’t say it’s the best meal I’ve ever had, as far as buffet dining goes it was excellent. We also decided to try room service one night which was served quickly and we found to be excellent value for money. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bahiazul and have already booked our return visit in the summer and cannot wait!

This place is outstanding. If you would like a nice relaxing luxury holiday this is the place to be. We went half board, and the food was lovely. You must try a cocktail in the bar msde by the lovely Rosa. The staff are lovely and friendly nothing is too much trouble. They always waved & said hello when we were out & about. The accommodation was stunning. We had a superior villa with a heated pool. There is a lidl a stones throw away to stock up on some wine & nibbles to enjoy round the pool. We look forward to going back & hopefully with our family.
