Although difficult to find as not a single sign to give it away it clearly has merit in staying inconspicuous. Great house approached up a long drive. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming, rooms well appointed and comfortable. Reasonable breakfast selection of yogurts, bread, croissants, jams & fruit. There is a swimming pool which looked inviting but didn't get to... More

The warm welcome was much appreciated. A tranquil setting with beautiful views of the Vosges and Black Forest mountains. Rooms are elegant and clean and the breakfast delicious with hot pastries. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were refreshing after a day of visiting nearby Colmar.

My husband and I (mid 50s....early sixties) and my parents (in their eighties) loved it here. We stayed in the main house as B+B guests. Facilities were excellent and Benedicte and Jean-Jacques were the perfect hosts......nothing was too much for them. They even let us use their kitchen to chill drinks and prepare lunches. All the information they gave was... More

We arrived at this beautiful little chateau on a lovely evening at the end of May. We were 5 friends on our yearly short vacation together and were immediately charmed by the house and the wonderful huge garden surrounding it. We had the house to ourselves and got a very warm welcome by our hosts, Bénédicte and Jean-Jacques, who made... More

We just spent three wonderful nights at Domaine Thierhurst and highly recommend it for this area. The larger towns are so close and it is nice after sight seeing to return to this gorgeous property with huge swimming pool and trees everywhere. You truly feel at home with the owners giving you information but letting you come and go. Their... More

We loved our stay at Domaine Thierhurst. This was a perfect place for our family of five to stay in Alsace. Benedicte and Jean-Jacques treated us like family. We still think about our daily morning breakfast. The location also allowed us to take several day trips within France and to Germany and Switzerland. This is an ideal location for that... More

We arrived at this beautiful and pristine house just before sunset after a hot and busy days driving up from Switzerland. The host organised for us to be met in the local village and shown the way, which was just a few minutes away from the village church. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves and straight away... More

We spent a very relaxing 3 days at Benedicte and Jean-Jacques' gorgeous house. We were made to feel very welcome and respected. It is the perfect place to explore the Vosges mountains, buy top-quality Alsatian wine and to nip into Germany to the fantastic city of Freiburg/Fribourg! Couldn't recommend Domaine Thierhurst enough.

My production company and its 8 employees stayed at Domaine Thierhurst for two weeks while filming a travel show in Alsace. We had an AMAZING experience. The owners of the B&B, Mr. and Mrs. Kinny, were exceptionally kind and remarkably helpful, giving us an array of restaurant recommendations and tour ideas. In addition, the house is located in an ideal... More
