Relaxed family with child from 24.08 to 01.09. The impression of the hotel is twofold. I'll start with the pluses: an island near Malé, 15-20 minutes by boat from the airport. A sincerely friendly and smiling staff, three Russian-speaking hostesses, the most sympathetic being Danil (although we were not his guests), a cheerful hookah guy from Egypt speaking Russian, and a waiter from Egypt, we sat down for lunch mostly with him. Comfortable bed, 4 pillows, down blanket, in room kettle, tea, coffee, razor, slippers (room and beach), beach bag, beach and bath towels, weak hairdryer, shampoo, gel, on request brought hair conditioner. Cleaning the room for something twice a day. Food is not Turkey, not very varied, but you can find something to taste, you will not stay hungry, everything is very delicious, I would say even in homemade (potatoes, beefstroganoff, noodles with cabbage...). There are separately spicy Indian dishes. For babies, you can order puree or soup, or steamed vegetables, will prepare for you individually. For children: shallow shore all around the perimeter, kids club with Russian-speaking animator. There are paid Master Classes: pizza and rolls ($10 plus tax). Gym, billiards, darts, table tennis, squash, by appointment day tennis, badminton, basketball and beach volleyball, snorkelling equipment (free for all inclusive). I highly recommend you try a spa massage, we went to see Amonlu and some other girl, re-booked with Amonlu from India, her hands are incredible. Now the downside: almost the entire coastline of the island (except for the pool area) is knee-deep water, no further passing-dead corals. But kids are fine. The reef is dead, snorted once: sharks, rays, few species of fish and sea cucumbers, there are many) Sand is not everywhere Maldivian, the island floor sand with crushed shells. There's no seafood, it's the first hotel we have on the ocean that didn't have anything seafood. It's a long wait for a bug, and if you call a number, the wait is 20 to 25 minutes, and he drives past you, he gets a crowd there at the end, and on the way back, you're not obsessed. You wait again. It's particularly unpleasant to wait in the rain. The penultimate day before the eviction, the minibar was not completely renovated and water was not brought. Check-in is not until 14.00, but change out of the way or swimwear for 10 minutes will provide a room. If you decide to go to this hotel, take all inclusive at once, as splashing around in the pool during the day is thirsty, and frets, beer, cocktails-all will be free. If you have full board, all drinks are for money, which is $7 to $22 for one glass. Coke is $3.65. Plus all inclusive includes: one fishing excursion (recommend boat company with several rooms, fun, gambling, fish fishing), canoeing and windsurfing (1 hour per day by appointment), sauna and steam bath. We're not going to this hotel again.

We stayed at Villa Nautica for ten days between the end of July and the beginning of August and we left a piece of our heart in that place. The weather was perfect, except for the first day as soon as we arrived (but we were so exhausted from the trip that we happily spent the day sleeping) and some very rare rain (lasting a few minutes) mostly at night. The island is not very small, but not large either and is very well organised; you can get around comfortably on foot or there is a buggy service to get married wherever you want. In addition to the sea and the sun we curse, the island offers so many possibilities to occupy yourself. We opted for the all-inclusive formula which we highly recommend if you want to enjoy every comfort without worries both in terms of drinks and activities to do (canoeing, snorkelling, ...). Our accommodation was a beach villa (room 262), a perfect location with children: the sea immediately outside the bungalow has always been very calm, clear, transparent and low to the point that even our 2-year-old could move around independently. The room itself is not very modern, but it is very large and offers everything you need (clean beach towels every day and even handkerchiefs). A strong point of the island is the super swimming pool, beautiful and with bar service directly at the sunbeds! All the staff were immensely welcoming and attentive to our every need, but we would like to give a special thank you to Samuel who assisted us perfectly in everything. We are not very good at English and Samuel really helped us a lot by making us feel totally calm and serene as he had excellent knowledge of Italian! Thanks again from the bottom of my heart! Before leaving we were a little scared about the culinary aspect having two small children, but even in this case we had a wonderful time: the choice has always been very wide and we personally have always and only thrown ourselves into local food and/or Indian discovering fantastic new tastes! It was a wonderful experience with our children, they welcomed us with so much affection and everything was perfect, thanks for everything guys and we hope to see you soon!

(We got the all inclusive package and the water villa, so this review is from that perspective)
We just came back from an incredible trip to Villa Nautica, got exactly what we were looking for. Nice and relaxing holiday with beautiful scenery and extremely polite staff. The food had a lot of options, fresh fruit and salads everyday and the special grilled food by the chef was amazing, especially the daily grilled fish. Dinner every night was a new theme and new take on food. It was so exciting to see ‘bbq day’ ‘Indian night’ or ‘street food’ as the upcoming theme and seeing the food be so drastically different. Our server in The Lagoon restaurant (where the water villas are) named Bilal was incredible, he deserves an extra shout out, no plate was left on the table, our cups were always full of water and he always seemed to turn up when we wanted something ordered. Incredible service.
The drinks and the all inclusive selection was super, and refilled the minibar once a day. We were not without extras. We enjoyed coming to the beach bar at night. There were activities for every day, and some of the entertainment was incredible ( the Maldivian culture and the fire show were our favorites).
We stayed at the water villas and it was the best hotel experience I have ever had and probably ever will. Having a bath on the porch watching the stars at night was something out of this world. The rooms were spacious, 2 sinks in the bathroom was a nice touch, and the sheets on the bed were amazing to sleep on. The pillows could have been a bit more firm, but that’s probably the only thing to really say about the room. The marine life was amazing, snorkelled our hearts out to the point of exhaustion😅 the family of sharks that live in the villa area were always close by when we swam.
Highly recommend the All Inclusive package, having extra stuff in the room, and a selection of drinks whenever you want them made it more enjoyable than the vacation had a right to be. Having a host that you can contact at a moment’s notice was fantastic and thank you to Dave who was at our beck and call for the entire trip and was more than happy to answer any question we had. My husband got a severe burn on his shoulder and Dave immediately booked a trip to the clinic and escorted us there no questions asked (wear sunblock. You don’t want to be in your room for 3 days healing when the water is so beautiful.)

Positive: - Beautiful island and very well-kept rooms. - The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. - Beach villa right on the beach offers a fantastic location. - The beach itself is also very well-kept. - The option to dine in one of the three à la carte restaurants, such as the Hook, offers a high-quality culinary experience.
Negative: - The pool is constantly overcrowded and the area unkempt. Guests leave used diapers and towels lying around. - Guests reserve the loungers with towels every morning before breakfast, which is annoying and a total bad habit; an absolute no-go for us!! - During the all-inclusive offer, some guests behave disrespectfully, which spoils the atmosphere. - Buffet experience was disappointing due to inappropriate behavior from other guests. Among other things, people put their hands in the food, and baguettes were bitten into at the buffet and left lying there.
Conclusion: Overall a beautiful island with friendly staff, but due to the problems mentioned we would not travel here again. Perhaps booking a beach villa with a private pool and without the all-inclusive option could improve the experience, but this could increase the cost considerably and make other holiday destinations more attractive. By the way, the island is very child-friendly. So a good option for families with small children. Not really for a couple looking for peace and quiet.

We arrived at Villa Nautica on Christmas Day and enjoyed a few days of paradise in an overwater villa.
Julianna was our host and we had a warm welcome to the island, including a quick tour of all amenities in the buggy before going to our room. We appreciated this as it gave us a sense of where to find everything, the map was also very helpful. We felt the excursion booking could be better organised and not everything available is communicated. We were on our honeymoon and on the last day saw that there was a honeymoon excursion package which we would have appreciated knowing about.
The food in the AI package was only free at one of the restaurants on the island, although drinks could be purchased at any location which was great. The buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner was always delicious and something different every day - we ate very well! In particular Naveen’s hospitality at the Lagoon was awesome each meal time. Ammar, Bilal and the lady host were also super friendly. The afternoon tea is a little lacking compared to the other food on offer throughout the stay and items like cheese and sandwiches quickly go soft and soggy in the heat.
Our room was beautiful, clean and well maintained by our very nice housekeeper (we didn’t catch his name!) and it was lovely to step out into the sea and snorkel. We save many sharks, rays and other beautiful creatures right on our doorstep. Appreciated the snorkels included in the AI package but must get to the rental place early! The bathtub on the decking area was very cool, but looked old and could do with updating. Additionally some villas can easily be seen from the beach so the privacy is limited.
Guests with allergies should be taken much more seriously, as despite emailing ahead and our host acknowledging at check in, our room was not allergen free which could have been very dangerous and resulted in a hospital trip! Not expected 5* standard
Had a rude encounter with a staff member at the water-sports centre and the guy who hosted the sunset fishing trip also seemed very disinterested and was on his phone most of the trip. This was the only occasion where staff weren’t extremely attentive.
Lots of planned activities to be involved in during the day and evening. Very fun and easy to keep occupied!
There are lots of families with small children at this resort so I don’t think I would recommend it as a honeymoon destination- we experienced a lot of screaming and whinging children during our stay.
I would not say it blew me away as I was expecting for the price we paid, especially as a honeymoon destination - we have travelled a lot and stayed in many luxury hotels for much lower price and we expected a lot more from a 5* resort in the Maldives.
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at Villa Nautica and special thanks to the staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. It is a beautiful, well maintained and friendly place to stay 🙏🏼

Dear illustrach, Thank you for choosing Villa Nautica as your holiday destination in the Maldives and for taking a moment to share your experience with other Tripadvisor readers! It was a pleasure having you on the island and I am delighted to learn that you had a pleasant stay with us. It is wonderful to know that you felt comfortable in your villa and that the team's warm hospitality as well as our culinary selection and various activities contributed towards making your vacation an enjoyable one. I sincerely thank you for sharing your valuable insights, which are crucial in helping us improve our service. I am sorry to learn that our initial villa arrangements did not meet your needs, though I am glad we were able to find a suitable alternative. I do apologize if your experience with the water sports/excursion team fell short of expectations, this is definitely not the service level we strive to deliver and it was never our intention to appear disinterested. I will personally ensure additional training is provided to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. It is always very helpful to know how our guests felt while they stayed with us as they observe and experience the resort from a different perspective than ours. Please do rest assured that I have already shared your feedback with the concerned departments. Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback with us, I do hope that your experience will not hinder your from considering Villa Resorts for future vacations in the country. Nautica regards, Ibrahim Nahid General Manager

The resort offers specialised experience to each visitor. We were allocated a host who took care of almost everything, from the registration to the daily activities and check out. Ms Ermie who was our host was readily contactable at any time, she was attentive and went to the extra length to make our stay in Villa Nautica as one of the most memorable experience. On the day of check out, we were allocated another room while waiting for our flight back. It was all made possible by the hospitality of the resort and the extra mile work of our host, Ms Ermie. Other staffs of the resort were all very polite, attentive and helpful as well. Mr Bilal for example, he was one of the staffs working at the restaurant where we had our daily breakfast and dinner whom we grew fond off from the very first day he served us.
The water villa where we stayed, was nice, cosy & provided us easy access to the sea. The room was equipped with free flow nepresso capsule along with the machine. Room service was provided twice a day which we found very helpful as we constantly needed bath towel change, and for the room to be done up following water activities in the sea.
The resort environment was very calming, clean with extra attention to details in terms of facility, artistic presentation of the facilities
Buggy car service was readily available at any time of our disposal when the service was summoned to bring us around the resort and to commute from one point to the other
Souvenir store was available in the resort where one can get some souvenirs and basic daily necessities. My only wish was, for the store to sell some snacks, soft drinks or any other dry food, which they didn't have. Luckily I packed along snacks from home (which I love having in between my water activities)
Breakfast & dinner experience: a mixture of Indian & Western cuisine. I must say the food was fair. One of the nights we had lobster buffet by the beach accompanied by soft live music at the background. The lobster and other seafood were awesome. The experience was just spectacular.
All in all, I must say, that my experience staying at Villa Nautica was awesome, memorable and something I would recommend to friends and family
Ms Noraini

A good quality hotel that cares about its guests. The main restaurant is crowded, as is the area around the main pool; immediately upon arrival you get the impression that you won’t be able to have privacy on the island, but this is not at all the case. The beaches are beautiful, there are very few people nearby, and sometimes none at all. The cuisine is, indeed, most of the dishes are local, Indian cuisine, it was fun for us to try something new, at the same time, there were options for small children without any problems. What the hotel can really recommend to change is to increase the variety of exotic fruits; people go to the Maldives for this, too. The number of rooms is very decent, we lived in a sunset villa with a pool 304, in my opinion one of the best options on the island. The villas have been restored, you feel very comfortable inside, the bed is king size, you can fit in with your wife and baby without any problems at all, your own swimming pool in which you can swim around the clock is a nice addition. Reef - there are sharks and stingrays, enough fish, but I can’t say it’s truly wow, especially if you’ve been to the Maldives before. What was disappointing was the excursion to the turtles - 200 euros per adult and child, but we swam on the reef itself for about 20 minutes, and in a crowd of people. There were turtles, but small ones, in general, not worth it.. but the dinner at sunset at 🌴, despite the cost, was very good - romantic and very tasty. And now the main advantage of the hotel is the staff. Hostess Alina simply made our holiday - any issues were resolved instantly, friendly, with empathy and special attention. This attitude is very valuable and very captivating! I would also like to mention the person who made our room cozy twice a day - Pradeep. During the day, a lot of sand is applied to the room, and when you come in the evening after dinner, and the room is perfectly clean, cool, and the bed is prepared for sleep - this says a lot about the level of the staff and the level of the hotel. Overall, despite certain shortcomings, it was a great vacation in a great place.

It was a family trip, but I had a very enjoyable and luxurious time during my stay. The environment and customer service were very good. Just looking at the ocean was awesome! Every day we snorkeled, pooled and ate, and the day passed so quickly.
Juliana , the Island host, was very kind to let us know the event times every day and to make sure we enjoyed the checkout day to the end. I felt hospitality. Thank you for always responding with a smile. (There was another woman with glasses who was also pleasant, but I'm sorry I forgot her name.) Zahid, the waiter in charge of the restaurant, was always kind to us when we ate. The children were especially caring and the hospitality was very good. Anil, who was always in charge of fruit cutting and other tasks, was kind and hospitable. They cleaned the room every day, the guest rooms were comfortable, and I was glad I didn't see any bugs (small ants) in the room.
There are three regrets. There were few amenities. I had all the beach sandals and slippers, but no handwashing soap, brushes, toothbrushes, swabs, etc., which was a bit unexpected (although I had them anyway). I also wanted a separate conditioner for my hair that would be damaged by the sun and sea, preferably instead of a rinse-in shampoo. The bottle was also difficult to use because the body soap also doubles as a bath gel and is not a pumpable container. 2.The female staff at the kids club looked negligent. I didn't leave the child, but I watched it a little and was worried about leaving it. Throughout, the staff were talking to each other, and they looked really bored with the lack of motivation. However, when I played dance music, I was like a different person, child indifferent and excited by the rhythm. I forgot what I made again and went back looking for it, Leader? The leader asked the staff what they were looking for, and all three of them didn't seem to respond very well. In the end, I couldn't find the product. And we were taking selfies of ourselves in the kids pool. 3.The woman who showed us to the airport entrance after getting off the boat on the way home was unfriendly and subtle at the end. I went to the very end of the line, but by the time I got there, it had already broken up and I couldn't see her. (though I didn't need any help)
I hope 2.3 will be improved for the sake of future images (2 is safety and concern).
I've written some disappointing things, but I'd like to stay here again. Everyone was very friendly and kind except for the 2.3. Thank you for the wonderful time. I had very good memories. Thank you for your hospitality. Juliana and Zahid have been especially helpful and I hope they will be in charge for the next one! Thank you very much. We wlll be back!

The small island is not far from Malè airport and offers a fantastic beach holiday in small houses with direct beach access. The staff is very friendly, everything is very clean and the food is delicious. There are plenty of ways to pass the time, do sports, dive or simply enjoy the beach. Since we were traveling with a small child, we opted for a beach villa. Even after 10 meters, the water is only knee-deep in the lagoon, so you can easily let small children play on the beach. I can particularly recommend the villas to the north, as the beach there is simply fantastic. I would not recommend the water villas with small children, as there are no fall protection measures. In any case, I recommend booking all-inclusive. This includes a wonderful meal in 3 meals in the form of a gigantic buffet plus two snacks in between, an absolutely sufficient selection of drinks and cocktails, a meal in the à la carte restaurant, various sports activities and equipment, etc. If you have to pay extra for this on site, it gets a bit expensive. After a short speedboat ride, we were greeted very warmly on the island. Our supervisor Sheihaan looked after us wonderfully and fulfilled all our wishes immediately (thank you Sheihaan!). We had a lovely few days on the island, went diving, snorkeling and enjoyed massages in the spa. Once we saw small sharks in the lagoon that even swam between our legs. In the west of the island we were able to observe a large number of colourful fish while snorkelling and diving. We also spent a lot of time on the wonderful white fine sandy beach that was right in front of our villa. There we were also able to observe geckos, various birds and fish. Mohammed always looked after us very well during meals. The housekeeping also leaves nothing to be desired. The house was cleaned twice a day, the minibar was refilled daily and the beach in front of the house was also cleaned daily. Only the planes that take off from Malè to the other islands sometimes spoil the paradise atmosphere a little. They fly relatively close to the island, so you can hear them too. But that didn't bother us. I can highly recommend the island, even for families with small children.

Relaxed from 15 to 23 October in this wonderful place.First acquaintance with the Maldives and right away, were at Sunset villa with swimming pool,in wishes indicated the approximate location and hotel management took this into account,313 room created a feeling of complete privacy, but step to the ocean, very cool.Service excellent, separately thanks to manager Anastasia, very nice girl,if there were any questions and wishes Anastasia solved everything very quickly,no misunderstanding remained about the hotel, there was full knowledge about the services and services of the hotel.Relaxed with a child 2 years old and for him through Anastasia ordered separate food, which was not on the buffet (baby soups ,purée with meatballs....) And Anastasia herself has always specified whether we need any assistance. Cleaning rooms twice a day, eating a variety of meals, fell in love with grilled tuna, never eaten so delicious before. Waiters in the main restaurant are always friendly and always offer everything from freshly squeezed juices to alcoholic beverages. A huge plus for travelers with children is that the hotel is a 15-minute boat ride from the airport. We'd love to come back here!
