We stayed on Paradise Island Resort from 11 th to 16 th September 2021. 1.As our flight reached Male we just took a few minutes to take our travel bags. A man from the resort literally came and shoved us to the jetty heading towards Island. No welcoming note or nothing an rather he said they are late for us. We were stunned. Reaching boat we saw all our flight's co passengers were there and found no reason for this treatment. 2. Reaching hotel they gave us wonderful welcome drink and cold towel but along with a manager named MOHAMMAD. Such a disgusting host he was that he resembled Lucifer in my opinion. He said he would take care of us till our stays over there but we could not see him again. He did not even give his phone number that we could contact him. We stayed three days at water villa and we were supposed to have complimentary breakfast lunch/ dinner ( as we were half boarded ) from Lagoon Restaurant but didn't even bother to inform us. 3. I have never seen a bar to play music like baby Sha dudu..or what else I don't know. 4. Food was avarage. Comparing to Lagoon Restaurant Bagicha Restaurant was far better. A Very Special Mention to Yugreet Kaul . She is such a Lovely person I have met. She arranged a dinner at Lagoon Restaurant for us as we skipped that for that stupid MOHAMMAD. Thanks Yugreet. 5. Beech villas without pool are not that much good as per tariff. Paradise Island Resort have a wonderful scenic beauty. We loved it so much. It is well maintained. Other stuffs are so courteous. Thanking all.

We (family of 2 adults, 2 kids) stayed in a water villa from Sep 9-16, 2021. This was our second trip to Maldives (first one was to Bandos in 2011). The overall experience was very good, save for a few minor hiccups. We selected the full board option, the meals were at Lagoon restaurant. The staff were excellent. Iresha was really nice! She gave a flower every day to my 7 year old daughter, and my daughter really looked forward to restaurant visits! By the end of our stay kids formed a bond with her. The other two great guys at the restaurant were master chef Pradhan and chef Anoop. Both were excellent. My son asked for a chilli chicken and loved it when it was made for him! Another great guy was Mr. Tejas who came to clean our room. And of course, Mr. Ali at the water sports was wonderful! Apart from the full board bill, we paid another 3k$ on water sports, spa, trying different restaurants etc. I would have loved to see the hotel throw in a few complimentary stuff. (This was our experience in previous stay at Maldives). There are few free kayaks but they are almost always booked. You need to make a booking as soon as you land. No one told us this when we checked-in. So by the time we figured this out we lost about 3 days of free kayaks. A few bicycles for rental for kids would be nice. Also, sea food dinner by the beach was a let down. Overall these are minor issues, we enjoyed our stay at the resort, I guess the few staff I mentioned above made the experience worth while.

Don't hesitate to try the omelettes done by Mohim. Just perfect and he is very charming. Do not also hesitate to be served by Ram, a nepali fellow, who is a very calmed and nice person. In general, all extraordinary (Faisal, Jinbin, Ibad,....the spa people)....sorry for the people we forgot to mention.....all incredible. thanks for these wonderful 8 days
