We spent a week there, the hotel and amenities are in good shape. The staff are so friendly and great, whatever needed were responding to on time with no delay. Special applause to Kumar and Iresha in Lagoon restaurant, and Nazim ( or Nizam) in the bar. Would prefer more clarity when booking for the all inclusive/ full board and what is included. The prices charged for the PCR test is ridiculously expensive but no option to try and arrange alone as you are trapped in the island.

Very nice property, not too big but with all amenities needed. Its not super fancy, more in real island style which helps you to disconnect and relax even more. Clean and natural, staff is taking care that island stays eco friendly which is great. Ocean is crystal clear and great for snorkeling. We enjoyed our stay big time. Employees on the property are very kind and polite, also without any tension which for us was particularly important as we really needed relaxation. I would highlight Ms. Iresha and Mr. Kumar from Lagoon restaurant, they really acknowledged us every time and with just couple of details they made us feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. Also the staff member from main bar (open 24h) Mr. Nijar (not sure about spelling but he is also called Dara Bubamara due to Serbian singer that its coming to Island ). He saved our forgotten stuff and also help us to enjoy more in the bar during sunset times. Overall, its nice island to visit and spend couple of days relaxing, especially if you are more nature type of person. Aleksandra,709

After visiting 110 countries it was the turn of Maldives. I always imagine Maldives like a expensive place only for millionaires or rich people. All my trips were by myself, sleeping in dirty hotels un África, Asia or Southamerica. Due to Covid, if I want to visit a new country of my list, should go to Maldives. So, I research the web, found a cheap fly via Estambul and Landed in Male 23 th july. My birthday. 😁. Through Agoda website i found a five star resort with all inclusive and a villa on the Water for a very reasoneable price. Paradise Island Resort. At least the name sounds good. When you arrive at the airport the staff of the hotel wait for you in the lobby and in a speedboat they transfer to the private Island where the hotel is. Around 15 minutes by boat: 120$!!!! per person go and back. Thats the only bad thing that i Have to write about my experience at the resort. A robbery. If they want more tourist they must care about It. They think that we should be a machine of dollars and thats a excelent chance to make a crime because you are not other way to arrive at the hotel. No public ferry no a fisherman in his boat...nothing. they are the monopoly and you have to pay the bill. On the other Hand I have to tell that the Island, the hotel, the Water villas are amazing. I,ve never been un that kind of place and me and my girfriend enjoy a great time. Sometimes you feel like if you enjoy the paradise. From the terrace of the Villa you can see sharks, mantas, water snakes... A truly delight. And maybe the best thing of the hotel is the staff. Young people from whole Asia. Especially, We want to mention Kalai and Sharan from India and Iresha from Sri Lanka (they work in the Lagoon Restaurant). Juliana, the girl from reception, always she tried to help us and she was very kindly with us. And the guys from the beach bar, Marlin from Filipinas and the guys from Bali. They make the stay much better. Thank you to all of them. Best whises in their lifes

The stay at the resort has been fantastic ... especially with the large number of water sports that the water sports club can do. All the members of the club are super friendly and attentive ... and especially with Zendo with whom I have been able to do some very good windsurfing sessions with strong wind in this paradise. If you like water sports this is your place.
