We stayed in a one bedroom cottage that was 15 metres from the sea. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean. A ceiling fan and stand up fan were provided in the living/kitchen area while the huge king size bedroom had wonderfully quiet air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including kettle, toaster, coffee machine and blender. I appreciated the proper knives/chopping board as well as decent pans. Again everything spotless.
The bedroom had a new flat screen television (we weren’t expecting) and the en-suite shower room had a hairdryer, and high end shower gel/shampoo/conditioner (that we also weren’t expecting)! A 5 minute walk down the road takes you to Cauls supermarket where we found basic provisions - bread, butter, cheese, vegetables etc and beer/wine priced very reasonably.
We ate most of our meals at the Sand Bar restaurant on site - the food was amazing especially the Rasta pasta. It’s a lovely laid back but busy place to be and the staff are wonderful. We’ve already booked to return next year.

We returned to LAE cottages for the 4th time, and were as delighted with this unique and lovely holiday place as we were on our first visit quite a few years ago. Tim Brathwaite and his super team have made this "little piece of paradise" the most relaxing place to be. After a fairly stressful year we so appreciated the care and attention we received from all members of staff - be they office staff, groundspeople, or maintenance or, of course, the housekeepers who help keep guests' cottages in tiptop order (thank you Portia, and all the ladies!) with welcome smiles and chats while looking after everyone. And then there’s the Sand Bar – a first rate crew headed by a very good chef, serving some of the best food on Grenada (oh, the coconut shrimp…) and the best rum punches! We have been home a week and needless to say waking up in the cold and frosty UK doesn’t have quite the same appeal as 30C and the beautiful gardens and beach of L’Anse aux Epines. Thanks to all – and thank you Grenada!

What a really wonderful place this is! We were so impressed with the friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way for us. Tim, you have a fantastic team. From Timika who was so helpful emailing me to answer all my questions beforehand to Lisa and the housekeeping team who kept our cottage spotless and so well equipped. The staff at Sandbar were also top notch. We even had lots of ice provided for our arrival and the kitchen equipment was excellent. We were give a lovely bowl of fruit , and the cottage was decorated with carefully picked flowers. It looked amazing. Our flight arrived in the evening so we easily pre order our choosen meals from the Sandbar a few days before our arrival. The cottages are in such a beautiful location, right on the beach. The gardens and beach are maintained really well and we really enjoyed just chilling out amongst the flowers and under the trees on our personal loungers with the occasional dip in the sea. We even were given umbrellas and a rechargeable flash light to use during our stay. If we needed any help all we had to do was Whatsapp reception or just wander over there. All very well organised and contact numbers given for out of hours problems. The bed pillows are probably a bit large for us and the bed was rather 'firm' but apart from that we were just blown away at how excellently the cottages and apartments were run. Swallow Cottage is really recommended. Thanks again everyone!

Clean, comfortable cottages opening to the beach. What a lovely, peaceful setting, and a most helpful staff! The grounds were well-kept, and each staff member was attentive, kind, and most helpful.
The bedrooms are airconditioned, but the main living and kitchen areas are not. This did not pose an issue for us, but for other guests, it might. Also, there is no pool or gym, but the beach and ocean are merely steps from your cottage.
The Sand Bar and Grill was perfect and offered great service as well as menu options for any dietary requirement. We were glad to dine there several times!

Returned to these beautiful cottages for a second time, after having to cancel due to lockdown . It was amazing to be back . The location is breathtaking, literally steps from the beach which is a classic, quiet Caribbean stunner. . Every single member of staff are friendly and helpful. We had a two bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage , our friends had a two bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage . There are also a few apartments. Cottages are older style inside, but with absolutely everything you need, spotlessly clean , super comfy beds with air con in the bedroom . and serviced daily . Beautiful gardens too . Sands bar has grown a little since our last visit , understandably, as it’s right on the beach , serving excellent cocktails and food . Think we have found our paradise here, and will return soon .

Absolutely loved our stay at this spacious beachside apartment! The bedroom had an AC, and between that and a fan in the living room, we were able to cool off after sunny beach days. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room made us feel right at home.
We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink, which was a refreshing start to our vacation. The beach bar not only offered stunning views but also served some of the tastiest food we've had. The staff were friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by a serene, calm beach. Five stars all the way!

Stayed here with 5 friends for Spice Mas in Aug 2024 and the stay was wonderful! We had the 2 bd/2 bath cottage. It was well maintained and very clean. The manager (can't remember her name) was so accommodating! Our flight landed at 5am and we got there around 6am and she was kind enough to let us check in early. She brought us mangos from the trees on the property a few times when she stopped in to check on us - she was so lovely. We ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was good. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband Patrick and I stayed in the one bedroom apartment for the last weekend and experienced exceptional care and attention form start to finish. .
Arriving late on Friday night, we received a full orientation from the manager of the cottages. We found the apartment to be impeccably clean and maintained as such by sweet Lisa throughout our stay. The little things, coffee tea sugar milk and chilled water in the kitchen on our arrival.
We enjoyed the delicious lobster lunch on Sunday at Sandbar and received a very warm reception with our table being reserved for quite some time before we sat down to our meal.
Every single member of staff was warm, welcoming and cheerful and spoke positively of the cottages. Their disposition suggests that their efforts are valued and recognized. Kudos to each of them for earning that recognition and to management for acknowledging their invaluable contribution. We shall be back!!!

Located on Prickly Bay and nestled on a nearly vacant beach, the Lance Aux Epines Cottages provide a lovely, relaxing retreat. Most days I had the beach to myself where I could sunbath, read, meditate and snorkel, seeing a few turtles, sea urchins, and periodic schools of lovely small green fish. A peaceful paradise. The grounds of the property are a mix of delicate flora and luscious palm trees where I caught the breeze and a nap while lying in a hammock. The cottages are immaculate, cozy and efficient for traveling alone or with family. You can even cook your favorite food if you choose, but I preferred to catch my meals at the Sand Bar & Grill Restaurant, located on the property. The menu is diverse enough to cater to anyone's taste. My personal favorite was the Rasta Pasta with jerk seasoning, along with a delicious Iced latte. The servers were excellent, and my personal favorite is Cathy Ann. This owner operated business makes you feel like part of the family.

After vacationing on 23 different islands for the past 29 years, we have found our favorite - Grenada. Yes, we did return to several that we liked, but Grenada is the friendliest, least likely to be hit by a hurricane, and grows a lot of their own food. And now, after 4 times, Lance Aux Epines Cottages feels like our home away from home on this beautiful island. Tim and his staff ALL treat us as if we are family, and will do anything to make our stay the best possible one. Each Cottage is a stones throw away from walking on the beach or swimming in the calm waters. The Beach Bar serves the best, most varied food - right on the property. Even Fabulous Lobster this week~! Love listening to the waves and tree frogs at night, and the birds that wake up with the sun. Comfy beds, luxury towels and hot solar heated water for showers all make for a splendid relaxing time. We've already booked for next year!

There are coffee makers and toasters in the cottages and apartments. We do not have a televisions in the units but we do have a TV/Game room on property where our guest can enjoy some TV time when they would like to.

The cottages stand alone, I never went in the apartments but you are still on the beach just set back on the property. All the same great amenities. I am told the apartments are great.
There are more places to choose from in the Lance aux Epines area.
