The B and B is in Little Waldingfield and is easy to find. The village is near Sudbury, Long Melford and Lavenham so it's easy to get to many beautiful villages nearby. Our hostess was really lovely and welcoming, and explained things very clearly. We were given "The Blue Room", a beautiful peaceful room with a lovely view of the... More

Clean, comfortable rooms in a house on a working farm. Louise, who runs the B&B, gave us a wonderful, warm welcome and went out of her way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Some of the decor is getting a little tatty, but the friendliness of the owner more than made up for it. Good breakfast, too.

Athough this states we stayed here September 2015, it was actually September 2014, but there wasn't the option for this & I've only just got round to writing a review. I felt my review was needed due to the previous comment, which I totally disagree with. Myself, husband & 3 sons (adults) booked into this b&b for 1 night as... More

We arrived late afternoon and were welcomed by the owner and shown to a spacious en-suite bedroom overlooking the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Tea, coffee and biscuits were available as well as a widescreen TV and radio. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and an excellent Aga cooked breakfast in the morning. We also had a lovely walk round the gardens before we... We stayed two nights here as we were attending a wedding. The owner was very pleasant and friendly and showed us to our room which overlooked a yard full of vehicles and engines. The room was ok, very cold but it warmed up after we had worked out where the radiator controls were hidden. The owner should have sorted that... More

Louise S, Owner at Newmans Hall Bed & Breakfast, responded to this review

I am very sorry to understand you were not happy when you recently stayed with us for two nights. We run a bed and breakfast and as such do not aspire to be a hotel but to provide a service by welcoming you into our home which is, I believe, of a more traditional nature. We have many guests who... More

I was cycling from London to Suffolk and stayed here for one night. It was very friendly, clean and warm. I slept soundly and woke to a beautiful view from The Blue Room. The breakfast was excellent. I shall use this place again for sure. Good value too

We stayed on New Years Day with our little girl, the room was lovely and big with a nice bathroom and views overlooking beautiful scenery. Really good facilities, with plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk appearing in the little fridge outside our room! Breakfast in the morning was hearty and delicious. We would have taken advantage of the... More

I stayed at Newmans Hall over the Bank Holiday weekend, with my husband and his guide-dog, and 2 friends. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Our guide-dog got the chance to be an ordinary dog for several hours of the day, playing with the 2 friendly resident dogs and running free around the spacious garden. Louise the owner of... More
