A bit off the beaten track but well worth finding. We were treated as guests of Penny and Steve who were perfect hosts, joining us and other guests round the large dining table where we could view the nearby mountains. The food was excellent cooked and served by very efficient local staff. The accommodation was comfortable with sun beds on...

We really enjoyed our stay at Mymering - out in the country about 10km from Ladismith with magnificent views of the mountains. Accomodation good and comfortable with a private garden and plunge pool looking out towards the mountains .We even had a wild mountain tortoise in our garden. The highlight was the set four course meal - great food and...

Although out in the sticks, Mymering is well worth the effort. The welcome from Penny is warm and the food is delicious. After your chill-out stay, you will be refreshed and ready for the next stage of your holiday.

Mymering is a little oasis, tucked away off Route 62. We stayed in the Mae West cottage which was luxurious, comfortable, and with a welcome plunge pool. We were lucky that Penny's daughter-in-law, Vanessa (a chef) was visiting, as we had an outstanding dinner. A gem of a place, with Andy and Penny looking after their guests with charm. Highly...

We had two glorious nights here and enjoyed every moment. We were in Rosemary Cottage with the views of the vines and mountains beyond. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent, especially sitting with Penny and Andy for dinner....lots of wine, good conversations and plenty of laughs. Thoroughly enjoyed the early morning walk through the vines with Andy and the six dogs...

The best farmhouse B&B (with dinner) we have stayed in! We should have stayed two nights, not one. It was lovely in many ways but to summarise, a very charming, relaxing and stylish place in a rustic manner. We had the Towerkop suite which was a large one roomed suite, having a small plunge pool was a nice luxury. Food...

Beautiful views in a tranquil setting. Excellent food and the owners were exceptionally supportive and welcoming, we felt absolutely spoiled. I definitely recommend the morning walk with the owner - be sure to take a hat, sunscreen and some water. One of the best places I've stayed in South Africa - we will definitely be back.
