Summer Lodge is a fantastic B&B - probably the best I have ever visited. The owner was smiley, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble at all. The rooms were just lovely in every way: Clean and very well decorated and maintained, with modern tasteful and super clean bathrooms. The beds were so inviting and proved to be... More

A pleasant change from conventional B&B's as it is away from the hustle and bustle of towns and main roads. This village location comprises of a large picturesque country cottage, and our accommodation comprised a spacious detached annex that was equally attractive and is know as The Music Room. Huge comfortable bed, quality fixtures and fittings and surrounded by a beautiful... More

stayed in the linney(shed) for 1 night on a very short break. Fantastic! I really can,t express how lovely this was. It just looks like a summer house in the garden, but when you walk through the door, wow! what a surprise. I think the bed was the best ive ever slept in. Large 6ft pure luxury. (i want one).... My aunt, uncle and cousin (Val, Lot and Rebecca) were visiting England and wanted to visit Dalwood where my aunt spent her childhood. They chose to stay in the Summer Lodge after visiting the website and were not at all disappointed. They would like to thank Tim and Ady for their fantastic hospitality after spending a week in the Music... More

We stayed two nights in the Linney log cabin and wished it was longer. Good sized warm and cozy room (crawling baby friendly), well decorated with a raised deck overlooking a very scenic property and farming valley. Host Tim was very friendly and helpful, provided a good full breakfast to order and made bookings for the local pub for dinner... More

Amazing B & B in a beautiful setting. Six of us were sadly only at Summer Lodge the one night as we were staying as a midway break in our journey to Cornwall. Tim was so friendly and welcoming and served a lovely breakfast after a good nights sleep in the Music Room and the gorgeous Linney.

Great location, quiet lane, lovely setting, easy walk to a great pub, yet accessible to all of South Devon's and Dorset's treasures. Tim and Adrienne were great hosts, relaxed and attentive, and really fun conversationalists. Breakfast was very well done, the house is well maintained. All in all a really good choice. Thanks guys!

Tricky to find - a hidden gem you might say - the whole family stayed there three nights and found the accommodation comfy, the breakfast hearty and the walk to the pub, Tuckers Arms, bracing. Very nice place indeed, just outside Honiton easy access to the Jurassic Coast, and a true taste of the English countryside. The owners turned our... More

We stayed at Summer Lodge 2nd and 3rd January as we were booked in for a River Cottage Luncheon on the 3rd. We traveled to Summer Lodge from London and via Stonehenge and arrived about 6pm. We were warmly greeted by Ady who was very accommodating and not at all troubled by our late-ish arrival. Ady arranged dinner for us... More
