Choice of 3 meats, plus all the trimmings, divine gravy, perfect veg, amazing yorkshires with every dish, crisp roast potatoes, I am salivating as I remember!! Honestly couldn't fault a thing. Lovely service, and they stagger the bookings so your lunch arrives relatively quickly, piping hot, no room for the delicious puddings which are written on a slate, the cheese...

We were pleasantly surprised when we went to the Tuckers Arms in Dalwood near Axminster as the pub was had an old fashioned interior & we never expected to have such a wonderful meal. We both had fish dishes which were on the specials board & they were truly exceptional pub meals! The waiter Richard was very helpful although he...

While on holiday we had Sunday lunch, it was amazing all I can say it's great value for money and the portion size is large, its all home cooked and would recommend a trip to this pub but do book if you go on a Sunday. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. next time we are down that way we...

So encouraging to find such excellent food & service here. We loved the antipasto & or mains. We've had some bad experiences here in East Devon with service or lack thereof but this has renewed our faith. Thank you. X

A great find in a very small village in East Devon. Friendly welcome, warm atmosphere and beautiful features. Plenty of interesting choices on the menu and the food was served hot and tasty. Generous portions and timings were great, allowing time to digest each course without feeling rushed.

Our visit was suggested by our hosts in Axminster, it took a little finding but the food was well worth it. Sunday lunch or dinner is a feast, but beware you will not be able to manage three courses. It was so good we booked for the next night too. Needless to say we found it again but not by...

Went here for a meal with my wife and was not disappointed. The food was amazing as was the service. Beautiful little pub in the middle of know where. Quiet, relaxing and warm with a lovely traditional layout. Would definitely recommend, but beware as the portions are huge!! Well worth the money.

Stayed at a local B&B and this was the nearest place for food. It was great. Generous portions, tasty food and swift service. Doesn't open till 6.30 so don't get there too early (as we did!) and make sure you book as very busy.

I found the Tuckers Arms to be lovely hold village pub which would if benefitted more if hadn't been left in hands of a lot of young staff seemed too many hanging around where s couple of older more experienced people would of made a lot of difference and a lot of choices on menu were very dated and cuts...

Great food, but too much of it. They could reduce portions by 30pc and still have super-full and super-happy customers. Most food looked locally sourced. I had cauliflower and cheddar soup which was lovely, and ham and eggs. The ham was produced very locally and was superb....but again there was too much of it. The price was a reasonable £20...
