I have just had a 2 night stay in Ripon while playing golf at Ripon City Golf Club. I was recommended this place to stay by people who had stayed here previously when playing in our Golf Society meetings. What a good decision it was to stay here. It is a family concern and is very well run by Paul,... More

Customer service exceeded my expectations: When cycling along the road looked for the accommodation the owners (walking in the same direction) correctly guessed I was looking for the Crescent and introducing themselves, pointed out where to stop. They then helped to take my pannier bags and bicycle away. The accommodation was very warm, clean and comfortable. An information book inside... More

We found this location convenient for the town centre - about 5 mins walk. The accommodation was very comfortable, our room (1) faced the rear so did not suffer from traffic noise but the road is not too busy especially at night. The bed was comfortable if a little firm for one of us. The large bathroom had a power... More

Our hosts were charming and very welcoming. The old Georgian house is well furnished and decorated and our room was nice and quiet. Cycle storage (we were travelling on the Way of the Roses) was good and secure. However, the most important meal is breakfast and it's here that Crescent Lodge stands out. We thought that the Midland Hotel in... More

Penny and Paul provided us with a very warm welcome and the cosy room had everything one could need. The breakfast menu was refreshingly extensive with the fish dishes being especially appreciated. The only drawback, about which nothing can be done, is in respect of the stairs; if you have issues with steep and narrow flights then a room on... More

Called in on a whim whilst passing through Ripon and we are really glad we did. Paul and Penny are very friendly people and it is evident they take pride in Crescent Lodge. We had a lovely room with a very warm shower followed by a lovely breakfast in the morning. We were able to park on the road and... More
