We were warmly greeted and shown to our lovely, spacious room (The Weeping Ash). All the facilities you would expect (plus an addition of a small dressing room with dressing table and hair dryer). Bed very comfortable and warm. Breakfast of own produce was delicious and served in the lovely dining room. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and would... More

Not a large user of the B&B circuit but this lovely 18th Century working farm B&B has made me think about where I rest my weary head on my travels. Very clean well managed farm house and great sized rooms / bathrooms. Big soft bed, no road noise just the occasional bleating of the sheep... Lovely view from all angels... More

We stayed for 4 nights in August. The room was very large and lovely, the breakfast excellent and the surroundings very quiet and pretty. The hosts were very helpful - when we needed extra things like a thinner blanket and a power lead these were provided without any hassle. The evening meal was very good - although I'd also recommend... More

Stayed here for 2 days when we were attending a wedding locally. This is a working farm with a large farmhouse that has been converted to offer 4 bedrooms. It can be found just outside the Plymouth/Saltash area amongst the winding, narrow country lanes and it is ideal if you want a bit of peace and quiet after a long... More

Although we had to wait around twenty minutes to be let in (it is a working farm and we arrived right in the middle of harvest season) we didn't mind at all. The extra time allowed us to correct the position of the sundial, make friends with the numerous cats and kittens wandering about the place and take a fun... More

We stayed for just one night whilst visiting friends in Devon. We were greeted by the farm owners Richard & Sarah & their lovely family. The large bedroom was very comfortable with tea, coffee & biscuits available and a spotless bathroom with a good range of toiletries. Dinner & breakfast were both delicious with everything sourced locally and served with... More

I stayed mid week and arrived late (past 10pm). My room was ready was very nice. It overlooked farm land and was very quiet . Breakfast was great (large choice) and ready when i requested. I would come back for either business or a weekend break.

The only thing that let down my stay was the reception on arrival. I was greeted with no smile and when I asked about an evening meal I was just directed to the local pub despite their website advertising food. I was the only person staying and I felt like an inconvenience on my arrival. The room itself was spotless... More

Delightful couple of nights spent at Smeaton Farm which is set in beautiful rolling countryside. We were greeted with a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious evening meal. Our room was very comfortable and breakfasts first class and served with finesse. We hope to visit again one day.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Smeaton Farm, shame the Maize Maze wasn't more than a couple of inches high at the time! but as it was only May not surprising. We had a lovely restful last couple of days of our holiday, accommodation was excellent as was the food.
