I bought my Mother here for a short break in the Peak District - We can only repeat what many others have already said: Kath and Keith run an excellent B&B. They are very friendly and welcoming hosts (we had a cream tea on arrival!), clean and quiet rooms, very comfortable beds, a huge choice of delicious breakfast items, lovely... More

wonderful hosts, cream teas on arrival, very knowledgeable regarding local walks and facts and offered numerous lifts back and forth to the local pubs! Also, should say rooms were comfortable and clean, made better by the gift of homemade jam. highly recommended!

Wonderful hosts whose love and passion for their home and area is reflected in the energy and enthusiasm they put in to ensuring guests relax and really enjoy their stay. Special alert for NZ visitors- Keith and Kath have good memories of visiting our country and went out of their way to make us welcome in their part of the... More

Another wonderful visit to Kath and Keith's B&B. We always look forward to seeing them as they are so hospitable. We have been coming now for nearly 4 years and always struggle to leave. Its a wonderful place to stay with stunning views and amazing wildlife viewings. As always there is nothing that neither Kath or Keith will do to... More

Kath and her husband really care for their guests. They actually went above and beyond for us during our stay. Keith even went out of his way to deliver something that I had left behind! The breakfasts were massive and delicious! Kath is very sociable. The rooms and facilities were great. Everything you'd want in a B and B.

I stayed at Woodside B&B last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. And while the views and surroundings are beautiful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, Woodside gets five stars from me because of Kath and Keith's generous hospitality. From the welcoming cream scones and refreshing brew - that local spring water does make a huge difference to a cuppa,... More

Kath and Keith went out of their way to make me comfortable and make sure I was well fed for the Eroica Britannia cycling event. Their great hospitality made the severe climb up to Stanton Lees more than worthwhile!

We stayed 2 nights with Kath and Keith at Woodside. They were both very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean with tea and coffee available in the room. Bed very comfortable with a good mattress. Shower room was clean and fresh and shower gave plenty of hot water. Amazing views... More

This is our fifth year staying with Kath and Keith and we wouldn't stay anywhere else when we holiday in the Peak District. Kath and Keith make you feel at home as soon as you walk though their door - such a genuinely lovely couple that can't do enough for you!! A warm welcome on arrival - with homemade scones... More
