We have just had two nights at the Sleeplodge which is so near to the town. We arrived early and parked the car so we could go for a walk and did not need to use the car again until we left. Lots of local walking and plenty to see in the town. The staff were lovely and nothing was... More

We stayed here in October with our two small border terriers and the room was lovely. The rooms are a good size, Large kingsize bed, nice kitchette which came in handy for breakfast. Shower and P shaped bath, lovely hot water and products after walking all day. The staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again, as... More

Initially when I booked I believed that we were staying in the hall itself, an error on my part (late night booking). However we were pleasantly surprised by the Sleep Lodges. They are modern with big beds and powerful showers. The kitchenette also came in useful when we didn't want to dine out for breakfast. There was also a lovely... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, arriving on a Saturday morning. We were able to park our car up, and leave our bags in the room, until we were able to check in later on. We went out for the day walking, and came back about 5pm. Was a lovely big room and bathroom, nice little kitchenette (not that we used... More

We were really pleased with our stay here, and wished we had been staying longer. The Lodge is located surprisingly close to the town which made it easy to walk there in a few minutes. Staff meet you on arrival and give you a good breakdown of what is available and how to contact them if they are not around... More

Absolutely loved Sleep Lodge and would have loved to be in the area long enough to stay longer. I noticed reference in an earlier review to parking being tight and yes it it but if everyone is sensible then there isn't really an issue. Given what we paid the room itself was a joy kitted out with full size fridge,... More

The downs: Car park very very tight and not much parking near by unless you are a permit holder. Free WiFi doesn't work in the room you have to be outside to get it! Installing a booster would improve the signal and allow you to use it in the room. Towels with holes in them just doesn't look good or... More

Thank you for your review of The Sleep Lodge and your suggestions on how to improve things. We do have enough parking spaces for every room, but you are correct it is tight. So we personally check how each guest has parked to allow enough space for all. We also have another carpark just next door should guests bring more... More
