A 40th Birthday with a difference. We rented rooms at the Barn and we all had a fantastic time. I read some of the reviews before and was a little worried but we lovely the pool (very warm) and spent a lot of the time in the hot tub. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchen... More

Three generations of three families stayed in The Barn at Harthill Hall - and we loved it! The property has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Each room has an en suite toilet and shower, which meant that everyone had their own space - and no bathroom queues! The huge picture window in the living room has beautiful views... More

However . . . . The good points were well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, picturesque location, outside space for the children and... More

The bedrooms are well decorated and all ensuite. You have use of the communal swimming pool and each of the rentals have their own hot tub. I would definitely... More

I was very worried about staying at The Barn having read some extremely negative comments, however, I am pleased to say that many of the issues raised seem to have been addressed. The kitchen had a huge new cooker, brand new large kettle and toaster which was ideal for our large group (12 adults 3 kids, 1 baby). The second... More

I thought I'd respond to the reviewer from San Francisco as I was hoping that his standards would be higher then mine and that everything would be okay. 1) the kitchen appliances didn't work - dishwasher couldn't even clean the dishes YES TRUE and the staff accused us of overloading. THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN TO US 2) the kitchen was small... More
