I was just on the phone with them, and they told me that they sold their house, and don't have any availability to host any more, what a shame, such a great location. warm welcome by Linda, nipping clean room, lovely views, perfect location, everything we needed really. Breakfast was great, good choice of fresh fruits, cereals as well as hearty cooked breakfast, in lovely sunny room. Short walk ( aprox 10 mins) into Bakewell or £3 in taxi, good variety of pubs and restaurants nearby. Hosts were very informative of local restaurants, taxis...

So long as you know what you are getting you should be quite happy here. However, be aware that as stated very clearly by the host, when we asked if there was any common indoor or outdoor areas to relaxing in, that “This is a Bed & Breakfast not a guest house”. We stayed in the ‘large’ room, with an...

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend break. Let me start with the good parts. The house and room are immaculately spotless. The breakfasts had excellent choice, were deliciously well cooked. And the whole B&B was reasonable value for money, but not cheap. As far as location it is all right - a shortish walk (maybe 20min)...

Booked this B & B at short notice so very grateful to the landlady, as Bakewell was busy this weekend (apparently). Unusually late check in time (4pm), however we did arrive at 1pm and we were allowed to leave car on the drive. We were told that the B & B was expecting two more cars so we were asked to...

We arrived at Dale View and were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown to our room which was spotless and very comfortable. Next morning after a very good nights rest we went down for breakfast which were offered a very extensive menu which we enjoyed and thought was fantastic. Linda and Robert were very helpful and made our...

My husband and I stayed at the Dale View with friends at the end of November, just as the big freeze started. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. They were also lovely and warm which was much appreciated as the temperatures outside plummeted. After reading a couple of reviews on here, we wondered about our reception, but we...

We found Dale View a comfortable place to stay in a reasonable location just on the outskirts of Bakewell, approximately 3 minutes by car but a bit of a walk. It's just off the main road, which didn't seem too busy, although the room at the back was certainly quieter than my in-laws room at the front of the house....

Very clean but the hosts have a lot of rules to follow which takes away a little from the experience. The walk from the B & B to the pub in Ashton is through pastures and is wonderful
