A great Bed and Breakfast which is in a good location with good views, good breakfast, lovely rooms and very nice, helpful hosts. I have got to write 200 characters but this summary is already enough.

We spent only one night in this lovely B&B, while attending a family celebration in the next village. An extremely friendly welcome, a comfortable room with all that's needed, including Wifi, and a nice view. Delicious breakfast, just as we ordered the previous evening, with fresh strawberries and raspberries. Just sorry we couldn't stay longer in this attractive region.

The Normanhurst is an elegant B+B with style and warmth in an Edwardian house with wonderful hosts. We stayed five nights and thought this was the perfect B+B in the Peak District. We enjoyed our room with the view of the beautiful surroundings and spent quite some time by the window! Breakfast was delicious (in fact the best we had...

We have been to the Peak District a number of times and decided to return for the Easter weekend. We picked this B&B from the intranet and we were not dissappointed. The accommodation was perfect for us, we had rooms 1 and 3 for us and our teenage children. The rooms were lovely, a beautiful house in a lovely location....

We stayed at Normanhurst by chance after the b and b we originally expected to use had double booked us. John and Sue kindly took us in at 9.30 on a Sunday evening and could not have been more welcoming. The rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and we would definitely go back there.

This was our second visit to Bakewell and Normanhurst and it is still wonderful. The property is still very well maintained and the breakfast is still freshly prepared and very good with a nice variety. John and Sue are most helpful in suggestions for things to do. Knowing that we were planning on renting bikes and biking what we had...
