Shouldn't have expected much as we didn't pay a lot, but was not impressed at all. Struggled to park, later realised there was more parking at the back, but no signs to tell you this. Do not eat there, meal at the bar in the evening was very poor for what it cost. Paid for breakfast for the Sunday morning. Went down at 6.30am as we didn't know what time it started. Someone came at 6.45am and said yes he would move the chairs so we could go in. It looked like and tasted like the hot food had been there for hours. The only decent bit was the cereal. Have better breakfast in the Holiday Inn Express which is free, this cost £10+. Very tired hotel, needs updating

One night stay, comfy bed, clean room, pleasant staff, reasonably priced, convenient for short stroll into town. Tea and coffee provided, hair dryer in room, shower could have been a bit more powerful, but was adequate.

Stayed here last night as we were in town to see a show at the Pomegranate Theatre. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was very clean. The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a nights stay (tea and coffee making facilities etc). Upon check in we decided to add the breakfast buffet to our bill, this was £17 for the two of us, which I thought was a very reasonable price. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was lots to choose from, hot buffet, meats and cheese, cereals, pastries, breads etc. The sausages were particularly nice. All in all a very nice stay and next time I am in town I will definitely stay here.

My husband and I had a great stay at the Ibis Chesterfield Centre. Very welcoming staff in reception, went to our room who is bigger than expected from an Ibis and the room was clean, maybe a bit dated but clean. We had a very good night sleep as we found the bed confortable, Next morning we had our breakfast as it is a buffet with a lot of choice including the cooked part. It was a very good experience and thanks to all the staff

Stayed one night to visit family in the town of Chesterfield, very central and within 5 min walk to town centre. I found this hotel comparable to the Travelodge, provided everything we needed, i.e. clean bed, hot water the basics.
