So decided to suprise my twins with a jacuzzi room, as a 4 month belated 11th birthday treat.( We went into full lock down couldn't do anything.) After not going out any where other than the local shop for 4 months, I was very much put at ease soon as I walked into reception and seen the provisions in place. We had the dinner bed and breakfast, and can not fault the entire hotel staff, anyone we came across had excellent customer service, was greated by a smile and hellos, through out our stay. Rung reception couple of times and nothing was to much trouble and was delt with promptly, suite was fabulous, food was excellent at dinner and both breakfast, aswell as the restaurant staff! Thank you team Casa!

If there was an option to put zero, I would put that. First issue, I paid for chocolate covered strawberries and other extras in the room, without my knowledge my friend called and paid for strawberries and a card for our room, so when I arrived I messaged to say thank you for the card, she then had to ask about the strawberries etc checking we had them, to which I told her I had paid for them, and sje told me so had she, so I had to go down to reception and ask about it all etc which was annoying especially as my friend wanted to surprise us and that was now ruined, they told me I hadn't been changed for them, would have been wise to tell us on arrival though? Instead of ruining the surprise and me having to come down. Second issue was rowdy guests in the outside area who were smoking (in the none smoking area), which isn't the hotels problem however they did not ask them to move, so we had to sit inside. The guy in the bar area Joe who was serving was great and locked the door out to them which was blowing in smoke as they kept opening it. However I feel management should have moved them. These guests had been drinking since 10.30am as staff told us, at around 6 when they left as they were not getting served anymore they all got in cars and drunk drove away. Horrifying. Third issue, sauna didn't work, we had to get staff up twice to fix this, which ate into over an hour of hour our stay as we spent ages trying to get it to work and then having to get staff. Forth issue, paid for movie night, so film popcorn and ice cream. Well... try getting the TV and DVD player on.... que another hour wasted.. staff up twice AGAIN. Tv wouldn't go on for ages, finally got that on and then boom DVD player wouldnt work. Firth issue, and one for me that is what will make us never come again, I can deal with the above because things happen and the hotel hasn't been open for a while. But this one really annoys me, a hotel is nothing without its breakfast. Limited menu, fair enough due to covid. I got toast, scrambled egg and sausage. Toast? Sorry cold bread with ice cold butter. I mean unless you want a table spoon of butter and cold bread in 1 mouthful only you best go elsewhere. It was not eatable. The scrambled egg looked like someone had vomited on my plate I couldn't even bear to try it. Then we watch other tables get croissants etc and we had asked for pastries... Great i might be able to eat something. Oh no... none of them left now so instead we get a warmed up back of morrrisons mini pastries which are all full of fruit and not something I like. So I have left breakfast with a cup of tea and having to find somewhere else to go have breakfast. Unhappy is an understandment I could have used the morning in the hot tub. Instead leaving hungry, unhappy and a ruined anniversary night away. Such a shame as we were already looking to book to come back before we even stayed here due to the Jacuzzi suite. Lesson learned.

Unfortunately during these difficult times we are trying our absolute best to deliver our usual high standards of service, with home cooked produce. I am sorry to hear they did not meet your expectations. After further investigation I understand you did request Richmond sausages, this is unfortunately not something we serve. We take great pride in offering a high quality selection of home grown produce including meat from our owners farm. We are often commended for our breakfast produce, service and selection. I am extremely sorry to hear this was not to your taste, we strive to appeal to all guests however occasionally this is not possible. In regards to the sauna as you suggest this was unfortunately an unforeseen issue, I can assure you we do check all rooms and facilities before guest arrival however occasionally we do experience issues which are out of our control. I am delighted the team were able to fix this for you, again apologies for the inconvenience in time taken for this to be resolved. In regards to the movie package, as you know it was as simple as a lead unfortunately being unplugged from the device. However, as a gesture of good will - we did refund this package for you. Full english breakfast for £9.50. Food was excellent, sausages were freshly cooked and lovely meat. Scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. Not a single complaint, definitely worth the money was very filling. Not to mention the great staff, customer service was quick, helpful and polite. My server Ben was extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, great experience would recommend anyone who’s thinking of trying during these times. All safety procedures were followed, felt really safe and well looked after.
