Stayed here one night. Rooms were excellent, well appointed and spacious especially Room 1! Good size bathroom with shower and bath which was a bonus. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is no formal breakfast included but complimentary cereal, croissant and yoghurts are provided as well as a pint of fresh milk. Check the fridge, we thought it was a... More

The double room was modern, clean and comfortable and as stated on the website you pay for what you get so we arrived knowing that breakfast would be left in our room and so would not be a cooked English breakfast. However, we found checking in a problem as we were due at an afternoon/evening family celebration at 3.00 p.m.... More

I wish people would check hotels policies before writing reviews or indeed booking in the first place it would save a lot of people a lot of time. We state clearly we have no parking, (plenty of public car parks) we state clearly rooms are above the bar, we state clearly breakfast not included, (reduced price) we state clearly check-in... We were riding the Wiltshire Cycleway and arrived before the check in time. Fortunately there was someone there to let us in. The bikes can be left in a secure private courtyard although there is not much space available as there are tables and chairs used by patrons of the pub. Being a wet chilly evening it didn't get used.... More

We stayed at The Bear Inn whilst travelling in Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. We found it online and booked on the morning of our stay and I have to say we were not dissapointed. Our room was spacious, clean and contemporary beyond what we would've expected in the price range. Aside from the kingsize bed, both shower and free standing... More

If you love traditional Inn accommodation this is the place, right in the middle of the town. Above a classy Inn that does great food the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable with fabulous bathroom. Great hosts and great value for money with a good free WiFi service. Would deffo stay here again.

We were driving through Bradford-on-Avon on our way to Bath and decided to stop for Sunday lunch and were hoping to find a nice pub to do just that. There are a few pubs in the village and as this was our first visit to the area we just plumped for the one that looked like it was going to... More

We stayed at the Bear Inn for two nights. We enjoyed it. Breakfast is cold and in the room but a cooked breakfast is available locally. Really handy for visiting bath. I would go in by train next time as it's cheap, the parking in bath is tricky and the railway station is near the Bear, in fact you must... More

Wish it was our local! Ours was an overnight stop prior to attending the Bath Uni open day. We had a twin room and a double. Both great ours was massive, beautifully decorated and even had a roll-top bath! We ate in the bar and all the reviews about the pies are to be believed. Fabulous and served with piping... More
