The staff were nice, although the did seem to struggle to juggle their work load, possibly short staffed, who knows. But they did a good job. So well done. The room was ok, although their was an odd smell in the corridors and also noticed that the fire extinguishers were not correctly put in place with missing glow in the... More

Stayed 3 nights over bank holiday. Room was of a reasonable standard and generally Ok and clean with comfortable bed but shower pressure low with mould around bottom. Plenty of hot water with towels changed everyday and toiletries replaced. This is a very old building so rooms not of size you might expect elsewhere but no real complaints here. However... More

Stayed whilst on business in the area. One night is just about enough. The room at the top of the hotel was basic to say the least. The shower was no more than a weak stream of water and the furniture is very dated, The Karaoke in the pub opposite kept me awake for some time. The friendly staff behind... More

As it states on the website it can be a bit on the noisy side. That's the only downside though as the rooms are very nice breakfast was lovely and as I stated the staff are friendly, helpful and good value.

Quaint hotel, the oldest Inn in Warminster. As such, the accommodation is dated but comfortable and value for money. Lovely breakfast. Car park next to the Hotel. Also ate at the hotel in the evening, and the food was fine - traditional pub fare. Very friendly/helpful staff, but run off their feet at there was a Kareoke evening (Thursday evening)... More

I stayed here as a Longleat stop over. The rooms were clean but average, bar areas and outdoor area they have made an effort but still quite scruffy. Food is excellent for what is. However don't go on a weekend!!!! We had a room at the front and opposite is a bar / club which had a band blaring until... More

Lovely looking pub with nice bars and back garden and a very comfortable clean room, but starting to tire in places. The website photos are a bit out of date. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beware though there is a late night disco every weekend which we knew about and actually enjoyed whilst people watching at the back of... More

Stayed here on a mini trip down to longleat and to explore the general area for a couple of days and stayed here on the first night. Drove down after we finished work and didn't arrive till about 7pm, by which time we were a bit shattered. We entered the pub and it was very busy as one of the... More
