Very good accommodation. Comfortable bedroom with view over side carpark and countryside. Excellent breakfasts in comfortable surroundings. We also had an evening meal which was very good and value for money. The only negative was that the bedroom was too warm, even with the radiator turned off! Nevertheless we would recommend it and return.

We turned up unbooked tonight and the staff were wonderful finding us a table. The staff were attentive and courteous. 2 of us had the Sunday lunch, we both had pork. The meal was fantastic, loads of it and very tasty with fantastic crackling and an enormous amount of beautiful steamed veg served in bamboo baskets. The Yorkshire puddings were... More

A colleague & I stopped at the Throckmorton for 2 nights, & were very impressed, rooms well furnished with a large TVs. Staff were very attentive, & the food was excellent. Having stopped at numerous hotels in the Redditch area over the last couple of years, this is the best yet.

We visited as a group of 18 while staying at nearby Coughton Lodge. We booked and preordered our food and from the time we arrived until we left our every need was catered for. We had 9 children in our group and Lottie and the team were really accomodating and thoughtful - balloons for the children, their meals brought out... More

Before this hotel and restaurant was refurbished we had been in for a drink and didn't really rate it much. When it had been refurbished we came in for a meal and was not disappointed, love eating here great food great service and good value for money.

Went for a impromptu evening meal 2/10/16. We turned up half hour early - no problem, we were seated when we were ready. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Food was good quality, we had the fish & chips as it was only a quick meal. Decided to have the deserts which were home made and were excellent.... More

A lovely place to stay for a few days if you are visiting the area. The staff were cheerful, attentive and welcoming, the food varied, well prepared and presented. Our room had a spacious ensuite and a kingsized bed. If I’m looking for a downside the only point I can raise is that access to the rooms is via a... More

I stayed here for 3 nights a couple of weeks back and I enjoyed a wonderful stay. The room was nice, clean and tidy. As i understand the hotel had recently undertaken a renovation and you can really tell. The bathroom had a shower and was lovely and new. I ate in the pub and the food was excellent, a... More

What a pleasure to arrive at a hotel that has been recently refurbished to a high standard and greeted by polite and friendly staff. Room 2 provided comfortable en-suite facilities and pleasant southerly views over rolling countryside. Food for our evening dinner and breakfast was excellent quality, perfectly prepared and presented with efficient service. Indeed, we complemented the Chef on... More

Booked one night, stayed two as we were impressed with quality of our room. Super comfy bed. Room was very modern. Meals in the restaurant were excellent. Enjoyed sitting out on the back patio looking over the meadows. Excellent value Used this hotel as a base as we travelled to Oxford and then Stratford.
