Okay, so I'll start with the positives - the reception area and cocktail bar are nice, modern and have an open feel. I'm afraid this is pretty much the extent of my positive comments. On the way to my room from the reception area the décor quickly took a turn for the worse. Dated, poorly maintained and generally shabby -... More

1st stay in Ireland for a mini break, our room was spacious And the bed one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! We ate in the hotel every night as the food was so good, lovely friendly staff and a great base for us to drive around for Titanic museum, Giants causeway, silent valley and Carrick Rede... More

Went for lunch on Friday with a friend. Very overpriced - £12.50 for fish, chips and mushy peas (asked them to remove the mushy peas as I don't like them) so really I paid £12.50 for a piece of fish and a few chips. Coffee was disgusting, it had obviously been sitting all morning and was very strong. Don't think... More

Having been in the hotel server all days over different weeks, I found the food good but missing something. After going through the menu, I was in the mood for something different, but when asking if they have any specials I was told, what is on the menu is what we have. Shame as I thought they might go and... More

Poor from the beginning. First visit here in 18 months and said then needed makeover urgently. Paving slabs loose, doors broken before you even check in. In room window jammed shut on a hot day, decor from your nan's generation, TV control held together with sellotape and dead batteries and power disconnecting every 3-4 minutes despite card in slot! Went... More

Another visit with colleagues. The hotel, has gone downhill further (my estimation). From the moment you enter the building (for those who have visited before, and I have on several occasions) the electric (automatic) revolving doors, are no longer automatic! Light flickering over the bar area, noisy vending machines on the ground floor guest corridors, the corridor that had my... More

The hotel looks nice from the outside and is nice enough inside on the ground floor. However the rooms are very dated and run down. Windows broken, carpets dirty, décor old and tired. When entering the bathrooms I was greeted by a dirty toilet, it had old grey worn towels and the shower is poor, in that it is in... More

Wifi unavailable in my room, and low signal throughout the building. When I complained the staff informed me they have had many complaints, but little the could do about it (i.e. I read that as owners have no interest in correcting). Food very very average for dinner and breakfast. But rooms great size and staff friendly.

Stayed here for 3 nights on business. The room was nice and large, clean and quiet. Only downside was the shower in the bath, but that's just a personal pet hate of mine, who wants a bath in a hotel these days? Breakfast is very good, couldn't fault it, well worth making time for, ate there each night and again... More
