We hosted our wedding at The RiverHill on July 16th. We settled on the hotel because it was the only one that offered us exactly what we wanted in terms of location, party size and meal/drink options. From the moment we met Steve, we felt we our big day was in safe hands. Throughout the months of planning, Steve was... More

We have had meals at The Riverhill on many occasions in the past. We went again last night to take a friend for a special dinner. Once again the experience was faultless. A warm and cosy venue with an excellent attentive team of friendly people looking after our every need. The food was top class. Well done to all. We... More

Popped in today to try the new lunch menu. Lovely welcome, super staff. Chose the seafood linguine - fabulous, puts the local italian to shame. If they maintain that standard word will soon spread - lovely change from a pub lunch - but probably no more expensive. Food did take a while, but was clearly being cooked to order -... More

We visited Riverhill a couple of days ago for a two night stay whilst we attended a friends wedding. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with any requests we had. We stayed in a spacious double room with a seating area and en suite bathroom. The room was clean to a high standard and with nice complimentary toiletries, refreshments... More

Went here for lunch which was beautiful. No complaints, everything cooked perfectly. Lovely dining room, tastefully decorated, lovely outlook. No loud music, no hussle and bustle. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Was not aware it was under new management so recommend they update their website.

Stayed for 1 night with my partner. Staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Room 10 is absolutely massive. Very bright and airy. Spotlessly clean and either recently renovated or just well maintained. Also has a huge bathroom. Bed was extremely comfy. They're not stingy with the tea/coffee etc. Room service was very quick, tasty and a very good price... More
