Staff fantastic and the room was really clean. We had an evening meal and it was very poor. I had the vegetarian option a vegetable and goats cheese tartlet. What arrived was not how it was described on the menu. My partner had the steak which he described as just ok. We had breakfast in the morning and it was... More

We had our wedding here on 26th August and the hotel and staff were flawless from start to finish. The whole event was seamless, with 1st class meal, professional and courteous staff. Carol, the manager in charge of our wedding took care of everything and made it effortless on our behalf. All the quests remarked on the quality and generosity... More

The hotel itself is nice, and the staff are very pleasant and friendly. The rooms and general decor is a little dated. There's no lift to the first floor (I think there are rooms available on ground level). The hotel was quiet enough, even though one night of my stay was a Sunday. The room was very comfortable and clean.... More

My mum and I went to the carvery at 5pm on Sunday. It was absolutely fabulous as always. The selection is fantastic, high quality tasty food very reasonably priced - 2 course is only £13.50 per person. A very enjoyable meal. Highly recommended.

Having just read the comment below about the "ice hockey puck" burger I thought I'd add my two cents worth. The food in the bistro is excellent (steaks and burgers included) always cooked as requested. Burgers are thick but fantastically tender and juicy, never overworked. If steaks, burgers and chips aren't your thing, there's plenty of other options. They also... More

Stayed here overnight at a weekend and although there was a wedding in full swing it did not interfere with our enjoyment of the facilities or our ability to get a good night's sleep. The room was large whose only drawback was that it was located in the annex and you can get to this from reception through the restaurant... More

Dropped in at the last minute for dinner. Just fancied something simple like a burger. Presented nicely and the chips were really very good. The burger however was very dense. Tasted ok but had the texture of an Ice Hockey puck. Very bad case of indigestion for the next 24 hours. A burger is a very easy thing to do... More

Thank you for your review Mika R. I am glad in general you found our food to be of a good standard, however I am not quite sure what a "Ice Hockey puck" texture is like but I will pass your comments on to our meat suppliers (award winning butchers) and our chefs. Thanks again for taking the time to... More

Fantastic night in a great hotel. My partner and I have stayed many times in the Lodge and would recommend it as a base for exploring the North Coast or just shopping in Coleraine. Food in both restaurants is great and good value for money. Rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Lastly I must mention the staff. All of... More

Have eaten here on numerous occasions for evening meals and Sunday lunch, whilst on holiday in Coleraine. The service is very good and the food consistently excellent. The Sunday carvery is superb. Would certainly recommend.
