Very friendly hotel with a very personal touch from the staff. Everyone is helpful and accommodating. Lovely breakfast and lively bar. Events on Fridays and Saturdays can make it noisy outside at night but the location and quality of the place more than makes up for any down sides. Went to lunch with my daughter and daughter in law, the menu is very varied something for everyone, and the portions size is huge the meals were lovely an tasty would Definitely go back again, the staff were really nice and very friendly.

we went for my friend's 40th birthday...good crowd of us! the service was so quick. polite staff. I have to say I have the steak, it was the best ever :-) .... the portions size are huge. we will definitely be back soon!!!

Stayed with hubby and sons in family room and single room. The showers in both rooms were temperamental to say the least! Hotel tried to fix the family room shower but didn't make too much difference. The noise from the bar and smokers outside was a bit of an issue as well especially since it was very warm so the...

Having eaten at this Resturant over the years and I have never been disappointed in the quality of food offered. Friendly polite staff offer the best service and advice on the menu. Try Yhe Downshire Arms Hotel Resturant and you won't be disappointed.

Food is fantastic, I had the burger pepper sauce with garlic fries, absolutely mouth watering, and believe me you won't go home hungry. Great value, service and atmosphere, always a warm welcome. Will go back again.
