Bypassed Newry and used ferry above Carlingford to come to this very pleasant hotel. Helpful, chatty staff, efficient welcome, handy car park and outside sunny garden and bar. Large, quiet, nicely decorated bedrooms and bathrooms. Lobster enjoyed for dinner and Ulster fry breakfast. Followed by a visit to the beautiful trees and parkland and enormous walled garden at Seaforde. A lovely, sunny, relaxing break away.

Stayed here for two nights in July. Our room was spacious and clean. We found all the staff that we dealt with, friendly, attentive and efficient in their job. We had tow breakfasts and two dinners and have no complaints with any of it

Stayed for two nights, staff are extremely friendly, kind and helpful! We had a slight issue with connecting to the WiFi but as soon as this was arisen to staff, they sorted it out quickly. We have had both dinner and breakfast here, both were great! Parking right outside the hotel, and rooms extremely clean! Would highly recommend!

After three years of hearing good reports about the food here, we finally decided to try it out for ourselves yesterday. We arrived shortly after 5pm, we walked in, stood waiting to be seated for about five minutes before we found our own table and sat down. I then stood by the bar for an extra five minutes to ask if it was table service. I returned to our table, and waited a further ten minutes for menus, by now my four children are restless and fed up. I again went to bar and retrieved menus. Another ten minutes pass when finally a waiter comes to take orders. He served three tables before he meet our disappointed glare (everyone had came in after us) . He came straight over and apologised took our order, he then said he would give us discount on our order for the wait (which we never got). So food finally arrived. I ordered the chowder with wheaten bread, which was OK (minus the wheaten bread). The hubby ordered fish and chips, the fish was greasy and not cooked enough. The children had goujons and chips, the baby nearly three couldn't chew the chicken and actually choked as it was so over cooked. To be honest the chicken looked like a treat I would feed my dog never mind the children. We as a family of six will never be here again, and I will tell everyone about our experience. We would have ate better from the chip van out the front.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kilmorey Arms. Parking directly at the Hotel. Friendly welcome at the reception and a spotless, well sized room waiting for us. Turned out to be very quiet too. Supper and drinks at the Bar where good, breakfast (Ulster Fry) top-notch! This hotel is highly recommendable
